« We loved the location as Coniston is not so touristy and still very scenic.We loved the size, layout, quality of furnishing and white goods in the flat. There is everything needed for self catering but very good pubs and coffee shops close by. Highly recommend High Wythow »

« Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay.

« Was a nice and easy check in, very nice place and spacious enough, had everything we’d need.. only problem was the lack of cleanliness. Cob webs everywhere, dust and debris on the chairs and in creases of the bedroom suede walls, spiders in corners and cutlery provided has old food hardened within the cuts of the forks as it hasn’t been cleaned properly and left. Toilet also splashes water all over the seat when flushing causing the lid to be splattered with toilet water after every flush. »

« We enjoyed everything about our stay. The apartment is clean, enormous, and comfortable, and the view is magnificent. It is an easy walk to lots of pubs, coffee shops, and more. We would stay here again. »
