This house had everything we needed for our beach vacation! The beach is just a few blocks away within the gated community. The house has all your beach needs including umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, toys and a wagon to pull them in. We loved riding bikes (provided at the house) within the community. The streets are wide with minimal traffic so it was super safe for our young kids. There are plenty of shops and restaurants across the street, we barely used our car for a week. We did have a few hiccups while we were there but Jill was super responsive throughout the stay. We had an awesome time here and can't wait to come back!

Amazing property and hosts!! The property location was great, just a short walk to the beach and shopping. The house was very modern and had so many accommodations. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need and more! The garage games were a big hit with us! Great gated community. Jill and HB are the best hosts and take great pride in the property.

Perfect multi-family beach house

3 family vacay ages 14-50. We had a great time! The weather wasn’t great with double red flags on the beach 4 of the 5 days we were there. We still used it and having the equipment (chairs, coolers, sand toys, umbrellas, towels) available at the house was a huge bonus!! The kids rode bikes and visited basketball and pickle ball courts multiple times a day. They also made use of the game cabinet every night. We cooked several meals and had plenty of pots/pans/dishes for all of us. The house was SUPER clean and well stocked with everything you can think of!!Downside of the trip was the pool was out of service when we were there, luckily it was cooler weather (70s-low 80s) but with the double reds on the beach a pool would’ve been nice to relax at. The owners worked with us to find a solution to the lack of a pool and got us waterpark tickets for a day. Location was great for walking to beach, pool/courts, shops, grocery, restaurants. Also great for runners. So many directions to go in and paths to take. Safety was never a concern.We would recommend 10/10 to stay here! Communication with the owner was easy. Jill answered questions right away leading up to the trip and during the trip!

This home met all our needs. It was super clean, nicely appointed & provided everything you would need for a wonderful vacation. The owners are kind & generous, providing you with household items that you rarely see in a vacation rental. The short walk to the beach is beautifully landscaped. You can't go wrong with this home and all the wonderful amenites.

All the reviews are true! The hosts are amazing and very helpful and kind. The location could not be better as it is right by the beach, the grocery store, the shopping centers and restaurants. We had three generations who truly appreciated the bikes and the beach chairs. It has everything you need! We even forgot a few things, and the owner kindly mailed them to us. I would not hesitate to recommend this place for a wonderful beach vacation!

Perfect for all ages

First the house was well furnished . From kitchen appliances,silverware,cups and plates to the fine furniture. Games for children and adults. There is not much you have to bring***Includes many beach chairs,umbrellas and bikes for the family. The house supports two cribs ,highchair and linens. Jill and HP were always available if we had questions. The best stay we've had and we've been coming to the Outer Banks for over 20 years. We've already made reservations for next year.

Pearl is the best beach house I have ever stayed in. It has everything you need. The owners go above and beyond to give you the best experience possible. And it's so clean! My family had an amazing vacation. If this house is available, get it, you won't regret it.

Beautiful home, amazing owners who are very accessible, great location to beach, food, fun. The only thing to be aware of is the home has three levels with relatively steep stairs, so if that’s an issue it would be good to consider this. We’ve been to this home before and will be back. We usually don’t give reviews unless we feel the item or service is either really good or really bad - we feel this is when we can be of most help to others, so this review carries alot of weight!

Great Beach House

Our family stayed at Pearl for a week in August 2024. We loved it! We were three generations - 7 adults, two young children and a baby. The layout of the house worked perfectly; we utilized all the interior and outdoor spaces. The house had everything we needed for a beach vacation, including a wagon, beach toys, chairs, towels, etc. The walk to the beach was easy, even for a 2-year old. And the community pool was a great hit. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive.

Pearl is by far the best rental property we have stayed in. Beautiful property, well equipped with all essentials, comfortable, inviting and owned by remarkable hosts! We were treated like family! Kind and Communicative Owners

We stayed here August of 2024. The owners handle the property themselves and it's very clear that they care quite a bit about it and about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. They cleaned the property themselves before our stay and let us know ahead of time it would be fine for us to drop our stuff in the garage and change and go to the beach if we wanted. We took advantage of that. Even though it rained the whole week because of tropical storm Debby we still had a great time.

Great Vacation Home

Great neighborhood and location. This property is quite close to pool and ocean. Also, shopping walkable with ease. The home itself is well-equipped, especially if traveling and unable to bring a lot with you. Bikes, umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers, etc...all the things that take up a lot of room to bring along, they had here. Would highly recommend.

Hosts were wonderful to work with through the entire process. Left goodies for the kids and us! House was very accommodating for the 10 of us, we didn't have to bring anything but clothes and food, they supplied everything! If staying in Corolla, I would definitely recommend this place!

Family fun time

We are from Northern Virginia and my family came from TN to meet us at this beautiful property. The location was perfect and we didn’t have to leave the house. We could walk to the beach, the pool, the grocery store and a shopping center. The hosts responded quickly to any questions or concerns we have. They even gave us a welcome gift upon arrival. We all have a great time.

Beautiful well equipped home in a perfect location.

We had a perfect family vacation in this beautiful, well equipped home! Hosts were available to answer every question and were most accommodating. They even purchased a slow cooker because i asked if the had one! It was an easy walk to both the beach and the pool. We couldnt have asked for a more perfect place😊

Amazing vacation home

This house was simply amazing! The owners were so prompt in responding and keep their home neat and clean and organized! We were so thankful for all the personal touches…sand toys and treats left for my grandchildren, everything labeled from the kitchen ware and all the light switches! I can honestly say I have never had this experience in a beach rental before! HB and Jill were just phenomenal!!!

Great Beach Vacation

Highlights of this house include the wonderful location and the thoughtfulness with which the house was stocked. EVERYTHING you could possibly want: games, beach supplies, cooking supplies, storage containers for leftovers, equipment for babies. We traveled with 4 families including 2 little ones and just loved the quick 2 minute walk to the pool and playground as well as a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach. I 100% recommend this house.

Lovely stay at The Pearl

Buck Island is such a convenient and safe neighborhood. Loved having bikes for us to get around the neighborhood. The house is such a gem and the owners have done a terrific job sticking the home with many things I would normally bring from home. The kitchen is a extremely well-stocked. Ample room and bathroom sizes. Short walk or drive to beach. Easy walk to shops and groceries.

Awesome beach home and property managers.

Great home that was like new and offered many amenities. Location/community was fantastic. Property managers had a welcome bag upon our arrival. Very nice!!! We definitely recommend this home and will stay again.
