Overall the stay was great but we were disappointed that the "shared" back yard was not completely fenced and had a ton of sticker burs.

My family and I and joyed our stay at the Oasis. The property is well maintained and clean. The property has many of the needs you need as if you were at home like washer, dryer, and dishwashing machines. This is a place I would recommend to all who have a large family due to the amount of abundant of space of the house. We loved that everything was at walking distance or close by. We have nothing but good things to say about the spot and the excellent customer service when I did call for information. Hope to stay here again on our next vacation down at Port A.

The property was fantastic! We had an incredible girls’ weekend that was located within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-organized. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Walking distance to everything

We loved our stay here! Walking distance to town and close to beach. I will say, the parking was tight. We had a small suv and two cars that barely fit. Also, the check in information was sent 30 minutes after 4pm. Other than that, it was great! The bathrooms were amazing and we loved having the balcony and back yard.

Great place to stay.

Communication was great during booking and checkin. Good location close to town and the beach. We had access a pool across the street which was nice after a long day at the beach. We would stay here again.

Room was beautiful and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was dirty on Monday when we arrived but Tuesday through Friday was clean. We rented a golf cart to get to and from the beach, 5min drive. I would stay here everytime we come back

Port A get away

Great time with big family. We went to the beach (5minute drive) easy access. Grocery store convenient. Could use a few additional kitchen items such as zip locks and leftover containers potato masher, overall it was a great time

Fantastic Family Weekend

Beautiful, well-designed, stocked, and thought out, this condo brought our family together for our best family get away yet! We are so thankful to have found this property and look forward to the possibility of staying here again sometime. From the accommodations to the decorations and the attention to detail, everything is well thought out. Loved it!

Great place w/ two masters

Great place with coastal style. Close to shops and restaurants. Unit is at front of community so parking seems a little tight for a double cab Chevy truck and Jeep Grand Cherokee. Noise from showers on adjoining walls might be a little loud for some. Other than that - don’t pack your baggage/coolers too heavy since the kitchen is upstairs and you have to carry it all upstairs (assuming you bring your own groceries rather than shop at IGA). One master upstairs and one downstairs. Not under your control - pool area had unaccompanied youngsters (age 10-14 maybe) and some litter lying around. Too much shade for pool area - didn’t seem as bright as website. Vegetation seems to invite mosquitoes. Also not under your control - dang Texas size mosquitoes at front and back door and at pool area. And IGA was out of citronella pots. Would we do it again - ABSOLUTELY!

House was great! Everyone enjoyed the stay. Only negatives: mosquitos are bad in the back yard, pool was dirty, no bathrooms by the pool.

Went to Port A with 5 buddies. Unit had plenty of room and 3 bathrooms. Everything in brand new working order. Great location.

Spring Break vacation

We had a great time! This home was perfect in every way. It was probably the cleanest place that we have ever stayed in. It is beautifully decorated and very cozy. We had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Summer Vaca

The house was perfect! My husband and I took our son and his girlfriend on our summer vacation before we take him to FL for college! We took the upstairs and the kids took the downstairs room! We forgot our games but thanks to a box of Dominoes in the closet we had plenty of fun at night! Great location and very well decorated and stocked! Definitely would stay again!

4th of July Beach Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Saltwater Hippie. It was clean and comfortable and would love to go back. An extra perk was front row seats to the 4th of July fireworks.

Girls Trip

We enjoyed our stay so much! The property was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the upstairs balcony each morning and each evening. The beds were comfy and we loved having our own bathrooms. It was such a great location and very centrally located. We were no more than 5-10 minutes from anything we wanted to do, even the beach. We enjoyed the pool too. It was very clean, and it was not crowded at all. It was a quiet community and a nice area. We absolutely would come back!!! Thank you so much for such an incredible girls trip. :-)

Could have been better

We had no AC the whole time we were there until our last night after 9pm. It’s a good thing it was not extremely hot outside as we had to open the patio doors for ventilation. Parking is extremely tight! Very narrow driveway.

Great stay at the Salwater Hippie!

We stayed 3 nights in Aug and loved the house and property. The unit was impeccably clean and looked exactly like the listing. It had everything we needed, all items were in working order, bathrooms were immaculate and spacious and the overall design of the house perfect for 2 couples. The yard was perfect for our dog. My only recommendation would be to add a couple of ceiling fans on the outside patio - as it's really just too hot to use that space.
