From the minute we walked in, we felt welcomed and happy that we booked this house. The house was spotless and all of the necessities were provided. Can’t be the view off the porch and the amenities in the community gave us no reason to ever leave. Highly recommend and will book again!

Great Weekend Getaway

The home worked perfect for our holiday weekend in Port A. The house had 3 king beds which is exactly what we needed and seems to be very hard to find. Most vacation rentals might have one king bed and all the rest queen or doubles. The beds were also very comfortable. Also, the location was great; we were able to walk to either of the property's beautiful pools. Also, being right on the golf course made us feel like we had a beautiful, grassy yard for the kids to run around and we were able to sit out on the cart path and watch the 4th of July fireworks. We really enjoyed the house!

Great beach home!

We had a great weekend at this home in the Palmilla. Great view of the golf course! Beds are all very comfortable. Only issue we had was not getting the gas oven to work / no trash bags / no high chair as listed in the booking details. Floors were a little dirty in some spaces but staff reached out and offered to have housekeeping come by. Staff was all very accommodating. Would recommend! Love staying in the Palmilla!

beautiful home with a great location

The home is beautiful and we loved watching our family members play golf from the balcony. There was jazz music playing when we walked in which was a very nice touch. Unfortunately, the downstairs a/c was not working when we arrived. As it was late when we reported it, the repair was not made until the next day. Without this issue the home would have received five stars.

Pretty in pictures, but doesn't live us to cost

Though this property is beautiful in the photos, for the 5 star prices the experience didn't align. The previous guests' trash was left in the kitchen, there weren't any extra towels, blankets, or linens. No trash bags, not access to a broom (or even a vaccuum), and the provided bar soap in the bathrooms was literally worse than a dollar store or Best Western. For these high prices, I expect high value, top notch amenities. Wouldn't stay here again.

Great house, with a lot of annoying rental problems

The decor and location was fabulous!! The place overall worked for our group. We had 2 families with 2 small kids each. However, there were a lot of small things that made our stay here frustrating... 1. The oven did not work - so when we planned on cooking some meals, this proved almost impossible 2. The AC did not work some nights and we woke up to 80* inside the house (Yes, all of the doors and windows were closed since that is a requirement for the AC to work) 3. The 3rd spot for parking was taken up by planters and a swing, so there was really no room for 2 cars and 2 golf carts 4. The freezer did not keep any of our frozen food cold, our popsicles were liquid the entire trip 5. The fully stocked kitchen did not include some of the basics that I typically have at other rentals with kitchens: ie. salt, pepper, tinfoil, frying pans, etc. - (There was also only ONE extra trash bag for the entirety of our stay) 6. The street was not on the map, so it was difficult to find - it is also not obvious where the Guest Services is - we did not realize that we needed to get wristbands and additional information on the property first there. I could not figure out who to call to help and report any of these issues - guest services in Palmilla is only for the additional amenities and never answer their phone - they always only respond by email.

Great View!

The home was very nice, well decorated and a perfect spot on the golf course. Great house for kids with all the outdoor grass area! Unfortunately we did feel the home was not fully stocked like the other homes we have rented at Palmilla previously. Kitchen supplies were not great ,there was not even salt and pepper. We could only find 2 kitchen towels as well. Just felt like a lot missing in the kitchen making it more difficult for use. There were not many bath towels as well. House was great overall just needs some stocking up!

Our family enjoyed this property! Great spot for our family consisting of mom and dad, one married but no children couple, and one couple with two small kiddos! Everyone had great space, privacy and easy access to the beach and pool!

Great Vacation with Family

The community is first class and not so big as to be a problem getting to amenities and the beach. Our house was great - just as described online. Very clean, very modern. One problem we had was getting the oven to turn on. Some instructions might be helpful. We finally figured out what we were doing wrong. The overall property is everything it was described to be. Yes, there was construction ongoing but no noise problem. A problem we did have: the pool looked fine; however, there were long strands of hair floating around in the pool and once we saw that we also noticed that the tile surround at the water line was very dirty. I think they need to step up their maintenance on the pool for sure. We rented the golf cart and a cabana and were very glad we did both. We'll be back for sure!

Great Golf View by the Gulf

Lovely home…beautifully decorated in a golf community. Super quick access to the beach. We spent a great deal of time at home since it rained 13 inches during the four days we stayed at the property. It was a very clean property. Easy to find and close to Port A. The Palmilla Beach Club staff is nice and it was easy to rent a golf cart during our stay. Our family would definitely enjoy renting this home again! Loved the jellyfish floor lamp - so cute!

Fantastic Property

This house was wonderful! It was originally supposed to be 3 couples and 2 teenagers staying in the house. We would have had plenty of room! It ended up only being 2 couples which was okay. 2 of the bedrooms are downstairs with king size beds and private bathroom. Everything was very nice and clean. Their is a room upstairs that shares a bathroom with the bedroom with 2 twin beds which shares a nice size bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The only thing I didn’t see was spices, so if that’s important to you I would bring some. It didn’t bother us one bit. There was coffee and hot tea which was nice. It was stocked with any size pot, pan or dish we needed. Great location with a beautiful view of the golf course. We were a short golf cart ride away from the beach. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Port A.

Superb beach house in an exquisite neighborhood.

Nice, new and clean. Very comfortable beds! Parking a little tight but that’s the only marginal aspect. The development is very quiet which separates this location from the others in the island.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a really great spot! We have two little boys who enjoyed riding their bikes, being close to the pool and playing golf. Everything was clean and fresh and new! My only sort-of complaint is how hard Turnkey is to get a hold of. You basically call an 800 number and they won't let you call the Port Aransas office directly. I don't like that and feel they need to be more easily accessible. Having said that, everyone I talked to at the company (and who helped us) was extremely helpful and professional!!

Beautiful home

We loved everything about this home. The floor plan was perfect for our two teens who enjoyed sleeping on a separate level from us (and their own bathrooms). We loved the neighborhood and the beach was never crowded to the point where you couldn’t social distance. I’m not sure if it was because we visited a week after the hurricane, but the mosquitoes were INSANE. We had to line up every time we reentered the home to make sure we ran as fast as we could without letting all of the mosquitoes inside. I recommend bringing lots of bug spray and repellent. The only other glitch in the trip was getting lost because there is no street sign for the street the home is on. It’s sort of tucked away off of a side street. We arrived around 7 and by that time, we couldn’t get in touch with anyone at the resort or Turnkey to help us locate it. We drove around for 30 very frustrating minutes before my husband stumbled upon it. I recommend calling ahead and getting CLEAR directions from someone at the Palmilla resort. I called ahead but the person who gave me directions was not clear at all and made it seem like a “you can’t miss it” situation when it definitely was not. Overall it was a great experience and we would rent this particular home again now that we know how to get to it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was great. Condo was very nice. Perfect to play golf and great access to the beach. There are several “add ons” you can get while you are there to enhance your stay (cart rental, beach chair rental, pool cabana) but you don’t even realize they are available unless you ask; they need to do a better job advertising these extra amenities, preferably before you get there in case they are all reserved. The reservation process via Turnkey was absolutely horrible. We spent over 3-5 hours trying to communicate with them to make simple changes/requests; be prepared for that.

Loved this house

This property was sooo nice the house was decorated to the max and had all the amenities you would need for your stay at the beach there was plenty of room for our family of 6adults and 2 children I would highly recommend this property the only thing I would recommend to the next family is bring your own paper towels laundry detergent and toilet paper since there wasn’t a lot in the house and we ran out and had to go to store and buy more all was good tho😋

We booked the house for a weekend away for my husbands birthday. The house was very nice! It was clean and the staff was very helpful putting our instacart groceries away for us. Definitely would come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was awesome! It was decorated very well and in a good location. The address was a bit hard to find since the small side street it is located on does not have a street sign, but we stopped at the Guest Relations office and they helped us. The larger balcony had a good view of the golf course. There was enough space for 6 adults, 2 teenagers and a baby. The resort pool and pool bar were nice. We rented a golf cart to get around the resort and take to the beach. I will say that the mosquito's outside of the front door of the house are a bit excessive. I suggest the owners install a bug light or something to that affect. Also, the house was overall cleaned well, except for the floors. By the end of the 1st night, the bottom of everyone's feet were almost black from the dirt on the tile floor. The tile is gray and has grooves in it, so I am guessing just a deeper cleaning is needed of the floors. My family enjoyed our vacation and would consider renting this house again. The location was close to town as well.
