The whole resort was awesome. We loved being able to rent a beach buggy with access to the beach. We enjoyed both pools and the bars!

Beautiful - but in need of maintenance

The condo was beautifully decorated and so conveniently located. Palmilla resort was lovely and we enjoyed a combo of the pools and beach access. The condo itself is in need of a lot of maintenance. We had to call guest services almost every day - microwave panel was broken, dishwasher panel was broken, towel racks falling off the walls, door knobs falling off. At check-in the master bathroom had no toilet paper. The home is not stocked with basic amenities like disinfectant spray for countertops, coffee filters for the coffee pot, extra trash bags and paper towels. If you are planning to eat every meal at the resort, great! We planned to cook several meals and it was a challenge. The Vacasa team was AMAZING and very helpful/responsive to our maintenance issues!! Could be a 5-star property once some of the appliances are replaced/repaired. Overall recommend this location.

Super Nice, BUT....

I did not realize this was a condo in a multi-plex style building. Ours was on the 2nd floor and not very convenient with the construction that was going on. Was pretty confusing to find upon arrival. Parking was close, but not as great as having one of the units on site with private driveway and garage (like we've had on previous visits). However, the home was wonderful - zero complaints about the unit once you got inside. For the cost, I will be sure and get the private unit next time.

October Stay

This unit was lovely--it looked just like the photos, which is always a plus. Comfortable beds, furniture, etc. and plenty of kitchen items. The beautiful view of the dunes (and a sliver of the Gulf) from the porch was still the same as the photos in Fall '23, but with the empty lots across the street now sold, I suspect that'll change within a year. As beautiful as the unit was, it had some issues. A towel holder in the primary bathroom was broken, the water pressure in both showers was very light, and the lint tray in the dryer wouldn't fit properly in its slot, which made the clothes catch on it and twist around each other while drying. (We suspect the lint tray was packed with sand at the bottom--something we've experienced with other rentals.) We reported it all to Vacasa, the company that manages the property, and while responsive, they made it clear that they were the main headquarters and would need to contact a "local" rep to have anything repaired, etc. We opted out because we could live with these issues for our short stay, but the number of problems was annoying. We were there over a long weekend in the early fall, so it was relatively quiet. During the height of the season, we could see it being a lot louder, especially with all of the building still happening in Palmilla.

Outstanding Condo

Beautifully decorated condo with great layout and balcony (with lots of available seating/tables) for enjoying time outside. Master is huge with en suite bath; the 2 guest bedrooms and bath are completely separate to allow for privacy and ease for families. Well stocked kitchen. Unit is an end unit with no units on either side. Easy access to second floor with elevator. Highly recommend this unit.

Best Time Ever

Great three day weekend- Pamilla condos are amazing- Vacasa is a fantastic management company. Our condo was beautiful, clean and well stocked with all kitchen utensils. Definitely going back.

Fine property and good location. Need some luggage carts for getting up to second level, and signage around Community, as to where things are. Also y’all can’t rent this place without a cart always available. It’s not a property that works cartless. Other than that, area is good. Tks.

Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had been looking forward to coming down to Port A for a couple of days to just relax and enjoy the salt air and some great gulf shrimp. We rented this condo for a long weekend and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Bright, airey and very comfortable. The finished throughout were beautiful and the highlight was the covered patio facing the gulf. We spent our evenings mesmerized by the breezes and the view. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a long weekend here in this beautifully decorated spacious condo within walking distance of the beach. Nicely stocked kitchen for cooking and plenty of room for social distancing. Condo was immacualate on arrival with easy communication with manager. Love being able to have chairs and umbrella resevation on beach. Only negative feedback which will affect my chances of returning is the check out time which is ridiculous at 10:00am. Highly recommend you go to the standard of 12:00pm with option to have late checkout if no other reservation that day.
