« The Inn was very charming. Our room was on the top floor (attic) of the old house. The owner was very helpful and really wanted people to enjoy the coast and all it has to offer. The only hiccup for us was the windows in our room did not seal well so cold air leaked into both the bedroom and bathroom and the bedroom window rattled all night when it was windy outside. It is about 57 minutes away from Acadia. »

« Très belle maison où nous avons été très bien accueillis La chambre (n° 8) disposait d'une terrasse couverte ; chaque voiture a son emplacement et nous sommes informés par mail avant notre arrivée de l'endroit où il faut se garer. Tout a été fait pour faciliter notre séjour : prêt de DVD, de GPS, brochures etc... Petit déjeuner excellent et gâteaux servis l'après midi tout était très bien y compris l'emplacement tout près du centre de Bar Harbor (5 mn à pied) »

« My mother and I had the best stay at Heathwood Inn when we visited Bar Harbor this summer. The staff is amazingly nice and they even prepared for my last breakfast the famous pumpkin waffles I had seen in the comments and nicely asked for - if possible (they are so delicious). It is also very easy to move around the island as one of the island buses can stop right in front of the Inn, allowing you to explore Acadia without a car and struggling to find parking. Yass! »

« Loved this property. Only stayed one night. Clean and spacious room, easy room access, plenty of natural light with a great view from the room windows, very good communication with Patrick, and it was the perfect location to visit West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and Campobello Island (Don’t forget to bring your passport). The sink and bathroom were a little snug, but it was okay for us. The bed mattress was very comfortable, but I would just suggest having a different base, as the wooden one made...

« A gem of a spot away from all the traffic of Bar Harbor and still close enough to see the sites of Acadia. Food here was excellent… don’t miss out on the peach cobbler, if you’re there while peaches are in season. The room was comfortable and clean. My husband was surprised there was no TV in the bedroom, but I was glad for the reprieve! The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was enjoyable and stress free. Joshua, Rachel, Kyla and Dana made our stay superb! »
