« This is a warm clean house with everything you need for a stay. It is close to the beach and Swan pool with lovely walks. Our dogs immediately settled in the house indicating how quiet and homely the house feels. Carol was excellent at communicating and made sure everything went smoothly. There is plenty to do in the local area and the house is centrally located close to local amenities. We couldn't fault our stay which was excellent value for money. Cosy and perfect for two people, it has great access to the south of Cornwall but also serves as a good base to go and explore the rest of Cornwall if you're willing to drive. Space was nice and quiet and you'll be able to properly switch off. Just be aware that the road down to the property is a little narrow so don't be speeding your way through that country lane! »

« The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

"Un hôtel ancien bien entretenu, avec une vue magnifique et un personnel très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est fabuleux et le restaurant où le pub ont des plats délicieux. Par contre de notre chambre nous entendions beaucoup trop les bruits de la rue et des déchargements pour la cuisine. Sans parler des bruits de pas du voisin du dessus, dû au sol ou à ce voyageur… ???"
