This property had a lot of issues with maintenance but was over all clean and the beds were comfortable. The property management company was very helpful and responsive when we voiced our concerns. It was not disclosed that there is an apartment under the house. Over all we felt that we over paid for this place, we would not stay again. I only give three stars because the property management company was so helpful.

Amazing

The place was beautiful with stunning views and felt very welcoming. It was very clean and had so much space. There were 8 of us total and it never felt crowded. We loved every minute of it. The fire pit and hot tub added a lot of extra fun to our stay.

Perfect family gathering site!

This is a unique beach house with beautiful views out every window. The kitchen was well-equipped with lots of dishware/glassware for larger groups at meals. The rooftop spa was popular, too!

Childhood Friends Reunion

I had previously booked this home for an acquaintance and they had such a lovely that when it came time to book a home for our childhood friends reunion I was excited to book this personally! The house is very well located, easy to access from 525 or the PT/Coupeville ferry. Super easy to walk to the beach or (much to our good luck!) the pool and playground. The home was ready and welcoming when we checked in-even complete with a pizza ready to go and helpful tips and recommendations for the island. So many personal touches were added that it truly felt like we were staying in a friends home. The rooms were lovely as well and everyone commented on how comfy the beds were. Having the kitchen/dining/living room area up top worked well for our needs as we had some folks who opted to take naps during the day so the upstairs could be louder while peace and quiet was still maintained downstairs. Will absolutely be booking in again in the future!

The place is a shared house.

It was not very clean when we arrived. They did not have any dish washer soap. Make sure that you read the listing in detail "Please note that the ground floor of the home is a private residence with no shared entrances." as this is a shared property. Be ready to hear the roar of the hot tub through the wall in Bedroom two during the night when you try to sleep. Also, the main bedroom is right below the main gathering space. Using 'Vrbo/Avantstay' just puts a useless layer of a Bot, complete with worthless/automated responses, between you and the actual host. When they do respond, they still have yet another layer before you can actually ask the host a question. This offers no value other than more wait time for a response. At least with other rental service companies you can actually reach a real person. For example; A kindle was left at the unit. I made contact and have had no reply at all yet.

Relaxing and beautiful spot

This is such a lovely house in an incredible spot. We appreciated how close it is to the coopville ferry while still feeling like a remote relaxing beach spot. The hot tub was a huge highlight for our family and we loved walking on the beach.

Loved the Beach Lookout Retreat!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy home on Whidbey Island! The views of both the sea and the lake were stunning, and the hot tub was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The home had everything we needed, and its location made it easy to access the beach, local sites and activities. The check-in process was seamless, and the host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

A nice getaway with friends

We had a wonderful and relaxing time with friends. The house was perfect. It had great views, was clean and comfortable. We had one night of noise from the Navy jets that were practicing, but knew about that beforehand from reading previous comments.The rooftop hot tub was very nice. I would recommend this house.

Exploring the PNW

Loved the location and size of the home. Enough space for quiet time and a perfect place to watch the wildlife. Group ranged in age from 29 - 59. No problem navigating the stairs. We enjoyed the hot tub and the community pool. The location was perfect as we covered the entire island and even took a day trip to Port Townsend.

Family stay

They were very accommodating and great to work with. We had an amazing time with all our family. If you’re older and can’t do stairs, be careful there are a lot of them. But everyone else loved it. Very spacious and had everything you needed.

Great weekend getaway

This house overall is great! Avant was so great and helpful. The floor plan of the house is unique. There are a lot of stairs and the bathrooms are on separate floors from the living/kitchen area. This home is not ideal for older individuals, people with mobility issues or small kids. For adults this house is great. Short walk to the beach and short drive to town. The downstairs tenant is friendly and ideal for a shared rental, I would rent here again!

Quiet getaway

Long-time friends stayed here for a quiet retreat. We loved the peace, spacious house, and beautiful views over morning coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies. It was a short drive to Coupeville as well. Hosts were great with info and it was easy to check in. Thanks!

Great Location, Views, Spacious

Loved the location and the views, hated the beds on the upper level. The house was very clean, spacious, maximizes the view, is on a very quiet street, and has a lot of parking. This is our third stay in a house in Admiral's Cove. This property has the best location, 1 block to the clubhouse with heated pool (summer only), 1 block to beach and basketball courts. House is split level with half a flight of stairs between each half-floor. And has 3 large decks plus yard access. Top floor is kitchen-living room. We loved this space. Recently remodeled kitchen, lots of space, great views, huge deck. The two upper bedrooms are furnished with semi-antique queen beds that are uncomfortable. They are nearly 3ft high (between kitchen table height and kitchen counter height), and it is a scramble to get into them. They are very squishy and wiggly (like a waterbed), and creaky. Our friends used the king on the lower floor and the queens in the converted garage and did not say anything about the beds. Roof deck with hot tub. The hot tub pumping runs occasionally day and night. It makes loud vibrations into the two bedrooms and even the kitchen. If the two bedrooms were refurnished and the hot tub were off at night, we would stay again. The house is very spacious and the location is great.

Everything was good except the stove burners were hard to use. It would be hot and then turn down a touch and it goes to cold. The little candles did work and I didn’t like the 730 am text each morning.
