« Excellent base for exploring the area. Staff were super helpful and polite. Had a REALLY creaky bed on the first night so didn’t get much sleep. Told staff the following morning and we were moved straight away. »

« Staff great. Didn’t get told had to press a button to have room serviced therefore wasn’t done but when told was supplied with the necessary teas and coffees. Fish was also not quite cooked but this was also dealt with to our satisfaction but it was a shame as the fish was great. Good quality teas and coffees. Pillows not great for me but I am fussy. »

« The Richard Onslow is a nice property in a nice little town. However please review your parking. Locals use the parking spaces so there were none free consequently we ended up paying for parking and walking some way with our bags. When raised with the pub they asked the locals to move but by the time we got our car over someone had parked there again! I suggest if you know you have guests coming you cone the spaces off. We only booked based on parking. »

« L'hôtel fait pub et l'intérieur est anglais à souhait. Les propriétaires sont charmants et l'exiguïté de la chambre est vite oubliée. La bière est naturellement excellente et les plats préparés sont homemade et délicieux. C'était l'endroit idéal du coin. »

« Hôtel sympathique à la campagne. Le point fort, c'est le restaurant : très bons produits frais et bien présentés, et des prix tout à fait corrects. Les chambres sont simples mais le confort est correct. Il manque simplement des portes-manteaux dans la chambre et dans la salle de bain. »

« The location of the hotel is stunning, with great views from the top of Leith. Very, very quiet surroundings. The room was comfortable but with repairs needed to furniture and equipment. Food was good quality but be prepared for a wait. An interesting stay! »

« Beautiful place with lots of character. Rooms were smal but well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast served was pleasant but the service was ridiculously slow and the food average with coffee that was moderately warm, however, I would definitely stay there again. »
