« Sunset Sanctuary is exactly as described. My wife and I spent 3 weeks there in Feb. '24. Loved watching the changing seas, whale watching from the deck or living room, and hiking in the Redwoods nearly every day. The location couldn't be better. Shawn was a great communicator and worked with me to accommodate a late change in booking dates due to a family emergency. Crescent City is one of our favorite locations and this was a perfect place to enjoy it. I hope to return again. »

« This property is amazing! From the updated home that comfortable fits 8 to the amazing view! There was plenty of room and we didn't feel like we were in each other's space. « Me and my two girlfriends totally enjoyed our stay here in Brookings. We are mature women that enjoyed the nearby parks with a little hiking, viewing seascapes and redwoods and of course tidepooling. We also enjoyed the eating out options especially the Martini bar. We also made one dinner in house and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the ocean. »

The trampoline was a hit with the group and 10 of us were comfortable in the house throughout the stay. Furnishing was nice and adequate and in like-new condition. « The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. « We had a great stay here during our visit to the redwoods. The features we especially enjoyed include the hot tub, wood burning fireplace, and loft. The home was clean and comfortable. There was not a fire starter log provided for us (or we could not find it) as advertised, so we bought our own at a nearby Walmart. We would stay here again. »

« We've stayed at dozens Vrbo's rentals all over the USA, and this by far is our favorite. The host Mr. Dean was very responsive and easy to communicate with. What a beautiful deck over looking the river with the outdoor fireplace (plenty of firewood provided).
