Verbesserungswürdig: Personal & Service und Zustand der Unterkunft
Club Seabourne has a lot of potential, but travelers should come with very realistic expectations. The grounds and views are truly beautiful, and the pool area is one of the nicer parts of the property. The hotel was generally clean, but the room and bathroom we stayed in was outdated—humble furnishings, weak water pressure, and a toilet that occasionally kept running. Windows did not have screens and curtains didn't fully function.
The property felt a bit deserted in terms of staffing. Staff were kind but not particularly warm, with the exception of a lovely woman we met toward the end of our stay, who was genuinely welcoming. It also wasn’t always clear who was available or what services to expect. Breakfast was mediocre, and the lunch boxes they prepare for the beach were the same—fine, but nothing memorable.
A bigger concern: we heard mice at night, and it seemed like they might be in the walls. We also saw a few on the property, which was unsettling.
All that said, the natural beauty of Culebra is undeniable, and this hotel sits on lovely land. It’s an okay place to stay, but keep expectations very low. Much of Culebra is underdeveloped, so the experience feels very different from more polished Caribbean destinations. If you’re prepared for that, you may still enjoy your time.
