« What an amazing place to stay! Close to many activities but at the same time a lovely quiet location. Very well equipped with lots of DVD choices, board games and everything you need to maintain your stay. The beds and bedding was my highlight one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for years! « We had an amazing time staying at Allercott Farm. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very peaceful at night, and you’re right in the middle of Exmoor so you can drive for around 20 minutes any way at all and find yourself at one of the many walks. Hosts were awfully lovely, as were their several friendly dogs who were keen to say hello. We’d absolutely consider staying again sometime to visit more of the national park. 😊 »

« I loved that old cottage and am glad it is in good use. It's nicely furnished and the village where it is situated is delightful. Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. Being a gardener, I tried to look after the remaining plants and had to transplant one huge heuchera plants that was literally hanging in the air as its pot was...
