Great family holiday

We had a wonderful time-the property was beautiful. We wanted each couple to have a king bed and bathroom and that is not easy to find and this house worked out perfectly. We had plenty of room to spread out and lots of spaces to play games, watch movies, etc. We loved the creek and it was so peaceful to sit and enjoy nature.

65th wedding anniversary

Our family, three generations, celebrated my parents' 65th wedding anniversary in Dahlonega. The home was beautiful; all were delighted with the selection.The creek was a super-extra bonus. The steps/trail down were steep, and there was no hand rail, so one in our party opted out. But the back deck is a wonderful place from which to enjoy the sounds of the birds and of the creek below.We found (but did not disturb) periwinkles, minnows, crawdads, and a 7" salamander in the creek. We heard wood thrushes, hooded warblers, and a hawk. There were two deer hanging near the house, and also a wild turkey. We enjoyed the game room, but spent most of our indoor time together in the large, main space, kitchen / living room / dining room / entry hall. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and sleep comfortably at night. There is much to do in the Dahlonega area, but it is almost hard to get motivated to leave the home, because there is so much to enjoy there. Our dog enjoyed traveling with the family, and it was so nice not to have to worry about who could care for her while we were away.The most direct route to Dahlonega, for us, involved a three-hour drive through the mountains. Very, very curvy little two-lane highways, but beautiful scenery. To top it off, on the way home, maybe 30 minutes north of Dahlonega, a beautiful, healthy, yearling black bear crossed the road in just ahead of us.

Beautiful Home

Our family stayed in this beautiful home for two nights. We had a family wedding in the area. We have stayed in many VRBO’s and by far this was the most beautiful and the cleanest home we have stayed in. So much room for a family our size. The game room was great. Sitting on the back deck listening to the creek was so relaxing. We would highly recommend staying in this home.

Wonderful property especially for adults as each bedroom furnished with king beds. Very clean. Probably one of the best stocked kitchens for any property our group has stayed. Setting was lovely and peaceful. Babbling creek an extra bonus. A real Gem!!

What can I say? The house was beautiful. Clean, spacious, every amenity one could ask for. The beds were extremely comfortable, and having all king beds in all rooms was a definite plus for us. The game room was equipped with everything we could possibly need! Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Perfect in every way

We spent four nights in this property and wished it could have been longer! The location is close to downtown Dahlonega and a short drive to Cleveland and Helen. The home was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a party of 7 adults. This property is unique with king beds in each room, which is what we were looking for. We have a couple of people with food allergies where cross contamination can be an issue, so we were glad to have two kitchens. The fenced backyard was a nice feature. Check in and out were very easy, and otherwise we didn’t need any assistance during our stay.

Perfect House - will be back

House was very luxurious. Loved the 4 king size beds in the 4 bedrooms. Great outdoor areas and especially the fire pit and creek. Be aware they do kit have a handrail to get to creek, it’s a bit hard to navigate. We will be back, so close to town with great restaurants - highly recommend Bourbon Street Grille.

Yearly family trip

We all enjoyed Robin’s Nest so much we agree we’d like to return next summer. The layout worked well for the 10 of us, grandparents, children and grands. The game room and creek were big hits. Our 5 and 6 year old grands were able to safely play in the shallow areas and some of the older of our family enjoyed “panning for gold”. No, we didn’t have any success, but it was fun! The upstairs master bed was so comfortable, my husband, who has had to sleep in a recliner because of back/hip pain, actually slept in the bed all week. We’d love to know the make of the mattress!

Great Place!

The house was clean and in a great location! The grill was fantastic and we enjoyed the fire pit down by the creek. We saw deer and even a little turtle by the house. We were close to the cute town of Dahlonega and a short drive to Helen. Would highly recommend!

Girls weekend

We have an annual girls trip in the GA mountains. This was our favorite house so far. It checked all of our boxes. Close to town, waterfront, hot tub, enough places to sleep and seat us all. We had a blast down by the creek. The 2 kitchens were helpful. Plenty of space for all of us. This house was perfect!

Fall Family Retreat

The home was beautiful with many amenities. We enjoyed the fire pit but it would be nice to have more lighting getting down to the fire pit by the creek because there were no rails. The kitchen was fully equipped with many cooking tools. The porch was enjoyed as we visited with the sound of the creek in the background. Our family really enjoyed making memories here. Having the residence pet friendly was very helpful for our two little chihuahuas. There is a game room and hot tub for enjoyment. We highly recommend this spacious home in a central location to enjoy the beautiful mountain area.

Gold Rush Weekend

Property is very well maintained and was super convenient to the square. The firepit was nice but not lit very well after dark. Game room is well equipped, kitchen was well equipped too! Overall accommodations were great!!

Great stay in Dahlonegha

We really enjoyed the stay. The home was clean and really nice - functional, spacious, and great furnishings. The home is in a gated neighborhood of hundreds of acres of forest and only maybe 6 or 7 homes - so you feel private but not secluded. Easy 7 min drive to town for some restaurants, groceries and a gym which we bought a week membership for $25. Wineries close by too. Saw deer in the area, we’re told about bears and coyotes but didn’t see any. Great stay
