NOT WHAT IT SEEMS

at appx 1:28 we heard over 14 gun shots ! we almost thought someone was knocking on the backdoor it was so loud : literally almost every wall in the house was filthy ! the toilet seat in the bathroom thats not in the master bdroom was cracked and broken . the couch was dirty , the extra mattress was filthy ! the carpets in all rooms are stained! The sink would not dispose of water nor did the garbage disposal work ! the trash outside was over flowing with trash ! the place literally seemed like NOBODY had came & cleaned up before our stay ! i have NEVER stayed in a bad vactional home, this was the WORST ! the house was nice on the outside & spacious but was not clean nor up to par at all ! i hope this review leads the host to hire a better cleaning team & be more considerate of the guests ! we would have literally left & stayed somewhere else if it was possible , but unfortunately it was too late !

Needs updating

There’s a couple of nit-picky things about this place that do need some updating. The pool cues for the pool table were incredibly worn, the ends were frayed and there was a split down the middle of one of them. Several of the door handles inside the house were loose. The couch and loveseat had worn-in stains on them that at this point would be better to just replace. Also, the listing saying “sofa bed” is incredibly misleading. It’s more of a cot with a metal bed frame and mattress you sit on top of it. Both the front and backyard were overgrown when we arrived but when we woke up one morning both of them had been mowed overnight without letting us know. Cool
I guess? There was a downed tree hanging over the backyard fence, no visible damage to the fence but it was definitely a bit of an eye sore. There was also construction going on at the house next door and the workers kept blocking the driveway which was a bit annoying but it’s whatever. Overall, the place was fine. Just needs a bit of a overhaul on some small things.

Nice Stay For A Celebration

The house was great for our stay. It was clean and had a good layout. The only down fall was the yard not being maintained and the trash was full. As far a being in a sketchy neighborhood, I grew up in the south so it was like being home 😁. Neighborhood across was cool and friendly. Host was quick with messages and help.

Not in a great neighborhood. Some trash was on the floor from the city trash out front. Backyard was overgrown. There were no blankets that i was aware of in the living room. It felt like all the bedroom vents were closed because it was very warm in them except the living room. Some of the flooring was vey loose by the guest bathroom. There was no coffee for the coffee maker. The pillows on the couches had some cleaner marks on them for some reason. It was a quiet neighborhood so that was nice.

First Vrbo experience.

At first i was indecisive but the property worked perfect for my friends and I. Everyone had there own space and we utilize the two bathrooms for sure. Neighbor is a little ehh but the property has an alarm system. If i ever need a staycation for my self i would book again.

I loved my stay it was so nice

There were even little toothbrushes provided for each guest. The room was clean and we enjoyed the pool table. I particularly loved the master's room. They called me when I needed them and were just there when I needed them. This is my best stay on this app so far, out of about 8, I will be booking again. 💕.

Horrible neighborhood

I wish i could leave a more detailed review, but we ended up not staying at the property. Upon arrival the neighborhood was VERY scary. We saw two people being arrested and a police helicopter circling. It's very close to the train station that also brought lots of characters next to the house. The grass was overgrown and there was trash everywhere. We pulled up to the driveway and someone knocked on our car door and asked if we were moving in very aggressively. Our group is from chicago and dosnt scare easily and this neighborhood was SCARY. We ended up booking hotels and never staying at the property.

Very nice place and property manager excellent

Very easy to communicate with property manager, property very clean. Location on VRBO was sending us to wrong location but we were eventually able to find the house. Location was kinda sketchy but felt safe once settled in.

Absolutely beautiful home!!

Booking this house was such a easy and fun experience! I loved the master! Such beautiful tile and it felt so homey. The 8 ball table and fire place were such nice add ons, I’m most definitely booking in the future. Adedayo had very prompt responses to any questions I had & this was overall such a nice experience. I absolutely recommend this home. Also had a bbq pit and very spacious backyard.
