Infested! Bedbugs! Evicted! inhabitable!!!

I arrived here on June 25th for my birthday on the 28th. Check-in process was smooth. Check in with security was smooth. When you walk into the house it is amazing. Spacious. Nice pool. But pool almost seem like it was only waterhose water. Nice kitchen everything was nice UNTIl NIGHT TIME CAME AND IT WAS TIME TO GO TO BED. The first sister that went to bed had no problems. The second sister that got ready to go to bed had a bug crawling on the side of her bed. She mashed it and all the blood came out. So she sprayed disinfectant and 10 minutes later five to eight more bugs came out of the mattress and all her sheets. So we all went to check in our beds and we found nasty sheets with spots on them. It seems like people were eating in their bed but somehow there were still stains on the sheets we all move downstairs and I immediately started trying to contact someone starting at 2 something in the morning. We all moved downstairs and sit on the couch and loan behold my sister noticed bugs coming out of the couch. She took a video of it. So basically we did not stay in the house not even 12 hours. Due to infestation. I finally got someone to reach out to me after 9:00 a.m. the next day. We didn't stay in the house we stayed in our cars. And stayed up all night long waiting for a response. After the response I was told that they come and look at everything after the cleaners leave. Looks like vomit on door and door curtain. I wasn't there 24hrand they gave me half of 1300 back.

Perfect location

The home was very spacious and accommodating. All of the bedrooms have bathrooms in the room. Beautiful pool home. However, I was grossed out when I discovered that we had been sleeping on molded linen. Also, the tv downstairs didn’t work and we couldn’t figure out which remote controls the tv, because there were four different remotes. But anyway we made the best out of trip and we enjoyed the home; except for the two things that I mentioned.

Wonderful stay

This was our third year staying in the Watersong community. The house was exactly as described. Our family really enjoyed the pool area! The location was great, as it was close to the entrance/exit gates. We paid extra for pool/spa heat and it was totally worth the money! It was such a lovely home. I would definitely recommend this property.

This was our 2nd year in a row staying at this property. We absolutely love it and it's perfect for our large family vacation. Minor maintenance issue was addressed and rectified immediately. We couldn't ask for better customer service.

Dirty and dusty

The problem started at the entrance of the subdivision.Our names were not listed as the rental guests so we had problem to get in. When we got to the house, we find it very dirty and dusty.We arrived to the property at night with very tired kids just to find the house wasn't cleaned upon our arrival.The beds sheets had many spots and many hair and the sheets did not looked like there were changed after the previous guests only straightened up and fixed to give them a fresh look. We couldn't address the issues right away since it was already after the hours of operation so we had wash the sheets ourselves! The carpets had many trash, dust, and even fingernails on it!The glass coffee table wasn't cleaned and still had circles after the cups or bottles on it.The cups and wine glassess were placed dirty inside the kitchen's cabinet.The cobwebs hanging above the beds and the algie in the pool! We talked to the property manager the next morning and talked to them about the issues we experienced.We send them the pictures of the condition of the house before we cleaned it so they knew we were telling the truth and asked for some compensation and at least the cleaning fees back since they didn't clean the house upon our arrival.They said they couldn't do it because it never happened before but they could send the cleaning crew back to clean the property! Are you kidding us! After we cleaned it? Where they were before our arrival? That house would not pass any health inspection!

Can't go wrong with Watersong

The location of this house is perfect if you want privacy from neighbors! The house itself is wonderful too. Plenty of room for large groups with bathrooms in every bedroom. Beds are comfy & water pressure is great! Living areas, game room & pool/lanai are plenty spacious too. We had 9-11 people there & never felt like we were tripping over each other. The house was everything we wanted & we only visited the resort clubhouse when I needed to print our boarding passes. The reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness is because almost every single cup, dish, pot/pan, cooking utensil & piece of silverware had to be washed before we could use it. This is not the rental company's fault though, as it is the previous renters responsibility to clean all dishes before they leave. Still gross though. The dish soap provided was so watered down, that it didn't clean anything & we ended up buying our own from the Publix. Could be the reason the previous renters left the dishes so dirty. The only other negative thing that I can say is that we didn't like that there was no chlorine in the pool. The water was recirculated & although it never got cloudy or dirty, it still worried me that it still wasn't chlorinated. The pool was still filling up when we arrived, so at least we knew it was new, clean water & not left over from previous renters. Check-in & out was easy peasy & the owner/rental company was quick to respond, even at night. Highly recommended & would definitely stay again.

Family Vacation

Stayed for a full week in June. The house was exactly as it was pictured. The pool was warm and the pool deck was large with a variety of seating options. The kitchen had everything we needed for every meal. The neighborhood was quiet and we were visited daily by a pair of sandhill cranes. I highly recommend this property, would definitely stay again.

Beautiful villa!

We stayed for 18 nights at Indian Summer on Watersong and found the villa to be exactly what we needed for our party… it was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed and more!… the pool was wonderful, plenty of space on the lanai and lots of seating outside and an outside shower and a pool bathroom… inside we had en suites for every room, which was really handy…. Communication with the management company was excellent, any queries answered very quickly… we would be thoroughly confident in recommending this villa… the only slightly negative things I could say are that the bbq pictured on the listing is not available to guests and if you want to have a bbq you would need to rent one, but the management company can sort that out for you if you ask them and it is stated in the details that this is the case, you just have to make sure you read it through thoroughly… the location is lovely with privacy and views from the pool deck onto a small pond with loads of wildlife including deer, otters, cranes, raccoons, armadillo’s and all kinds of birds!… it is a bit of a drive to the main attractions but it was nice to be away from the busy areas… we were very sorry to leave and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again if we come to the area again.
