"Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. "This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach. I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back."

"At first site as you enter the building it looked a little dated and need refurbing. I think they are in process of doing this as i could smell paint on my floor. The room was pleasant, although the draws were worn. The mattress was extremely thin and as soon as you sat on it you were on the base. They did offer to move me rooms at first but the hotel was full. Food was good and decent portions in the bar. Breakfast was decent although for £12.50 could of offer pastries etc "
