„I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there ...

„Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. “

The road in front of the house had more traffic than we expected but wasn’t bad and we enjoyed being out in the mountains. "I had slightly higher expectations before arriving at the hotel. The check-in staff were fine, but I was hoping for a bit more of that Southern hospitality. When we got to our room, we noticed a lot of noise from the road, so we went back down to request a room change, which they handled without any issues—this was fantastic. The room itself was quite nice, with a very comfortable bed, though the bathroom was a bit small but functional. I also want to highlight the number and quality of the towels, which were excellent. Unfortunately, we didn’t enjoy the breakfast much. It was impossible to avoid single-use plastic, which, as Europeans, we find difficult due to the amount of waste it generates. The dining area also felt a bit drab and uninviting. Another downside was the housekeeping. Despite requesting, confirming, and leaving the sign on the door for daily cleaning, we returned one evening to find that no one had come to clean the room, which was disappointing."
