« This is an older hotel, clean and mostly in good repair. The rooms are large, and have full-sized refrigerators...a welcome change from the "mini refrigerators" that cannot hold a 12 pack. Some rooms have a nice view of a lake, there is a dock and benches to sit and watch the view. Staff is on site and friendly; it seems to be family-owned...we liked the chance to help local people. Lots of parking and close to anything one might need. We would not hesitate to stay there again. »

« Very clean & well furnished room!! Lots of nice lighting. The stand alone lighted make up mirror was a wonderful surprise. I'm short (4' 11.5") and near sighted. So usually difficult trying to bend over the bathroom counter to get close enough to the mirror to do my makeup. I was very happy to see the makeup mirror. We were in Grand Rapids to visit the Judy Garland Museum (which is next door) and the Forest History Center, which is a few miles away, so location was perfect for us. Lobby,...
