I'd have given it 4 or 5 stars except for one very bad experience which is causing me to give a poor rating. It has to do with laundry I had put out of my room one morning. A staff person (who was delivering newspapers) grabbed it out of my hands. But I never received it that evening. I called the front desk, but they did not return my call and did not know. Next morning, the same staff person who had picked the laundry bag said he does not remember anything. Different staff people kept asking me what was in the laundry bag. I told them.
Eventually, it turned out the hotel had misplaced it. I did get it the next evening. This negative review is because of what happened after that- There was a piece that did not belong to me. I called the front desk around 10.30 p.m. to let them know and I was told they will send someone. No one came. But my phone rang for 4 or 5 times around 12:30 a.m. when I was asleep. When I complained to the front desk next morning that the call was too late and that I was asleep, the response was that it was just a little late. I was told the call had to do with laundry. The hotel thinks calling a guest for non-emergency situations after midnight is fine.
