Beware
Upon arrival, the temperature in the house was 78 degrees. The AC was running but obviously not working. After multiple communications with the host and promises to send a technician, we figured out the AC had frozen up. Fortunately, for us, we have a family member that works in the HVAC industry and told us what we needed to do to alleviate the issue. The host never sent a technician in our entire stay to look at the air conditioner, but instead insisted we use two fans that they provided. We took it upon ourselves to buy additional fans and was able to get the air conditioner unfrozen. However, it was very difficult to keep the home cool for the entire week that we were there. We alerted the host about this multiple times and no one was ever sent to look at the air conditioner. We found old food on carpets and in cabinets. The hot water valve was broken in the basement bathroom deeming it unusable Sent multiple pictures and videos. They kept promising someone was coming to fix it. No one ever did.The backyard looks nothing like the advertised photos. The outdoor furniture was dirty and in disrepair. There were overgrown dead weeds everywhere. The âpondâ was full of stale disgusting water. We also alerted the management company to this on day one. We were asked to send photos multiple times which we did. It was never addressed. With all of the issues we had we felt we were entitled to a sizeable refund. They refunded us 10% and fixed none of the issues.
