« We stayed for 2 days. Brought steaks and other goodies to grill. We enjoyed the view from the deck. We refilled the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the many visitors. We've never heard a hummingbird chirp! It was a nice quiet getaway to reset and recharge. We'll be back next time we want a quiet getaway. »

« Pros: beautiful/private wooded area, very friendly locals, great winery within walking distance, lots of hiking trails to pick from, cabin has massive potential to be A stay Cons: front door has a hole in it, back door doesn’t lock, hot tub has broken jets and doesn’t really get hotter than bathtub, needs a a new cleaning crew. Coming into the cabin with beads, chips, dead bugs on floor was not ideal »

« We really enjoyed our stay. It was such a cute little cabin and every detail seemed very well thought out. And out of all the Vrbos I’ve stayed in, this one had the best cooking utensils stocked in the kitchen. That may seem silly but we cook pretty much every meal we eat so it was a big deal for us. Thank you! »

« Very welcoming interior, two balconies for outside fun with a hot tub that worked on the lower balcony. Wish we would have had more bird seed to refill the feeder though. Loved the four separate bedrooms with individual bathrooms. very nice long table with 10? chairs for meals, crafts, and visiting. Walkable to the river for driftwood fun. Take binoculars. Glad I had a pair for the giraffe. Downstairs is difficult to access for handicapped guests with a metal spiral staircase or wooden outside...

« Very nice cabin with well-equipped kitchen. A few other cabins in the vicinity and a convenience store nearby. Other than that, nature. We enjoyed hiking, the hot tub, and the whirlpool bath. There is no WiFi but a collection of DVDs and even VHS, but we didn’t get around to watching any. Lots of games as well. »

« We enjoyed our stay while being in Kentucky. We loved the river and watching the barges go by. The kids even did some fishing. There was plenty of room in the cabin. I was a little disappointed to see there were only 2 showers upon arrival since the description read 4 full baths, but we made it work just fine. Also, a plus was having wifi and plenty of choices on the TV. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Moondance cabin. This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. It’s so relaxing sitting on the deck, looking at the Ohio River, watching the barges on the river and listening to the chimes. Such relaxation. »

The house was immaculate and it is equipped with everything you would have in your home. Joanne and her family are wonderful hosts.
