The home was perfect. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. A short trip by LSV to the beach. They allowed us to have our small dog and company. Worked with Travel Life Vacations and they were helpful and easy to work with. The home was very clean and had everything you would need in a kitchen. Full laundry available. Highly recommended.

Nice house in a great location. Potential guests make sure you read the full description regarding an extra cost to heat the hot tub / pool. Seems like we paid enough to at least have the hot tub heated without an added cost! Also wish check in time was earlier and I don’t agree with the checkout procedures (having to empty the dishwasher and to have all towels washed, dried and put up). What does the cleaning crew do? Lol Also, no instructions on how to light the fire pit. Other than these issues, we had a great time.

Perfect location, golf cart, pool, and beautiful views! House had several issues. Host did their best to address most urgent bathroom issues and response was quick-but we mostly dealt with the rest rather than complaining/taking valuable beach time. The two steps down to living room, curved staircase (varying width of steps), and decor (small rocks on the floor) are not kid friendly.

Overall nice place! Few things were not completed before we arrived, which was a little frustrating, but the management company was very timely to get them fixed. Young man apologized that they were not taken care of before we arrived. A few more amenities could be provided for two weeks stay. Some construction going on next door and across the pond, but no fault of rental.Neighborhood is great, very close to the beach, few close by restaurants you can walk too. I would recommend.

The property was beautiful and very spacious. The company was quick to respond. We had issues with the golf cart. Tires were bald and we blew a tire while driving it. It was fixed quickly but ahould not have waited that long to get fixed.

Great house. great location. Great time!

This vacation was so nice. The latest reviews had us worried about coming but we had a magnificent time. Yes there is construction next door but you’re at the beach. The view was awesome. House was great. Come with a golf cart. The management company has changed so look for correspondence from Travel Life Vacations. That isn’t stated well in the current listing and cause some concern when I wasn’t hearing from the booking prior to arriving. But they are wonderful and very responsive. We will be back to this house and Destin. There was something for everyone.

Tips for Future Guests

First and foremost let me say that the house itself is beautiful and in an amazing location, you really are a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. And as a pleasant surprise we found out upon arrival that the rental comes with a golf cart. We had a wonderful weekend, but there were a few things that we were unaware of and want to post so that future guests are aware. - The check-in time is 5:00 PM, not 4:00 as says in the website, and I was not informed of this until 3 days prior to travel. - There are no beach/pool towels for guests to use so make sure to pack them. - There are no kitchen “staple” items (olive oil and s&p). - We were unable to find directions on how to light the fire pit. - The house next door (to the right) is in the process of being built, and there were construction vehicles parking in our driveway. Also, the crew works on Saturdays and the houses are VERY close to each other, so if you are planning on having a pool party or bbq you may want to have it on Sunday. - We were unable to locate/use the outdoor trash and recycling bins (as required per the checkout instructions). There was 1 trash bin, but it was full of construction debris from next door and no recycling bin.

We chose this house because of the pictures and the 5-star rating it had. We were disappointed that it did not live up to that expectation and of its price point. I would first like to say that the owners are very attentive. They were very quick to answer any questions I had. One question being if they had chairs for the beach and they quickly responded by asking me how many I needed as to make sure there were enough for us. They were very kind and easy to work with. The amenities of the home are very good, everything worked well and the location is great. As to the house itself, we were immediately disappointed from the moment we pulled up as the pictures of the outside did not look like the pictures that are currently online. Landscaping looks bad with overgrown weeds in the beds in front and in the back yard. The home itself is very worn. The whole house inside and out needs a good cleaning and needs to be repainted. Also, there is a house being built next-door and with the backyard not being private it was awkward to be by the pool until the workers were done for the day.

Beautiful neighborhood, great location

Overall we loved our stay! The neighborhood is great and is within walking distance of the beach, the community pool and Crab Trap. There is construction going on nearby and a new house being built next door. The views from the balcony and dock are still beautiful. We loved the pool and hot tub and used them multiple times a day. There are some rough spots on the pool deck and some sharp screws sticking up on the decking by the fire pit so we wore sandals unless we were in the pool. Our boys loved seeing the lizards and frogs that would visit. The house is spacious and had plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. We did have some maintenance issues with the sliding glass doors and the A/C but the hosts responded promptly and got things fixed. As with all rentals, it could use a deep clean and some cosmetic repair. It’s a great house though and we’d definitely stay again! Thank you Carlos and Sara!

Great house and location!

Came here for a bachelorette trip. We loved the house, it was very spacious, everyone had a bed and bathroom and the kitchen dining room/living room was spacious as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and pans which was nice. Only thing that I gave a star off for was that we didn't know they were doing construction next to the house. Luckily they were only there the first day we got there. We also wish that there were trash bags easily available to us but we made due with what we had. The hot tub was amazing and the both the pool and hot tub heated up pretty quickly so it was always ready for when we wanted to go in. Overall, we would definitely book this house again. The hosts were super nice and answered right away!

Family vacation

Beautiful home and great location. We enjoyed having the pool right there and being close to the beach as well. We were happy with all the amenities provided. Kitchen was stocked well for making meals and beds were quite comfortable. Host communicated well and was very responsive. I would highly recommend. This was our first visit to Destin and we hope to return and stay here again!
