Great view of the ocean. The main complaint was paint chipped off baseboards, doors and bathroom cabinets. It was significant chipping that needs attention. Made the condo appear unkept. Otherwise, the stay was fine, but would look for different accommodations in the future.

The owner needs to provide instructions for the settings on the thermostat and for the operation of the two TV remotes. It would also be helpful if there was a notebook providing information for dining in the Destin area. A map showing those locations for restaurants would be helpful.

Property was nice! Bed was terrible, extremely uncomfortable and lots of noise from neighbors and trash shute during the night. Private beach chairs took too much room, not able to set up our own beach chairs and umbrella near shore.

Had a problem with the AC. The management company sent someone out quickly and took care of the problem. I informed them the shower curtain in the master bath had mold on it and the tub was dirty. A crew was sent in while we enjoyed the amazing beach. When we got back to the condo we found the liner had been swapped out but the tub was still dirty. Having some basics (salt, pepper, etc) would’ve been a fantastic way to start.

Sistercation 2025 was a huge success and tons of fun! The condo was great and the bed was so comfortable! We really enjoyed the table and chairs on the balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect view, amazing beach!

The property was great! The condo itself was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The beach was lovely and the water was amazing and calm. It wasn’t too crowded - always enough chairs and spots by the pool or beach. We will be back!

This was a beautiful condo in a great location! The resort also had a lot of good amenities. I would say the only downfall was that you were not allowed to set up your beach chairs and umbrellas by the resorts chairs. All personal beach set ups had to be behind the resorts chairs and umbrellas wayyyyy in the back. This was difficult if you had children to watch while they were playing in the water.

We loved this unit! The place itself was spotless and updated with a BEAUTIFUL ocean view and the location was perfect! Two pools, a cafe with coffee breakfast sandwiches, and a tiki bar on the beach were our favorite amenities. We would definitely recommend and come back! Thank you!

We will never stay here again. 5 rows of condo umbrellas and chairs is RIDICULOUS!!! That should have been noted in the details before booking. We had trouble with the kitchen sink leaking. The Scenic Stays worker said someone would come on Monday morning. They showed up about 4 hours later and barged in even after we said they were supposed to come the next day when we were not there. The power went off for over 3 hours and the elevators said use at your own risk. Worst experience we have had at a beach.

Nice place for a getaway

After a few hiccups with a leaking faucet and water soaking everything on the counter to the table from the repairs it was a nice stay. Would stay again, wish the big pool stayed opened later. But the smaller on was still pleasant.

Great location and amenities!

We loved our stay. The unit was perfect size for our family. The only downside was the water pressure in the primary bedroom bathroom. There are also other small maintenance that needs to be done on the unit such as missing knobs on cabinets, closet door was off hinges, paint scratches etc. Nothing that would prevent us from booking again though! The ac was wonderful. Loved the balcony and being right on the ocean. The pools were amazing and have the onsite tiki bar and cafe were really nice! All staff were super friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Updated, beautiful condo Right on the beach. It is a high rise, so it takes a while to walk down to the beach, but that's okay. Bed is very comfortable. We would stay there again.

Inaccurate Description and Better Units Available

Listing states there is a dryer in the unit and so I also assumed there was a washer since they also include laundry detergent. However, upon check in we noticed no washer AND no dryer in the unit. Location is on the beach so that was great! However, when we went to make up the pull out couch, there was no extra sheet in the unit. We called the property service and they were not able to get us any sheets until the next morning. :( Property was semi clean, with the showers being the worst. Some mold growth in the handle of the plastic faucet pull was pretty gross. Would stay at Pelican Beach Resort again but not in this unit.

Exactly like the pictures!!!

This condo is absolutely beautiful. We go to Destin yearly and always stay at the pelican resort, but this was our first time in this unit. Hands down the cleanest condo we have EVER stayed! No sand on the floor from previous tenants, it even smelled new when we walked in! Everything from the floors, to the counters in the kitchen, even the walls, beautiful and sparkling CLEAN! The balcony was great! Beautiful view, nice patio furniture. The mattress in the bedroom is comfortable. The unit always stayed cool, no issues with over heating AC or too much humidity. Easy walk to the beach, nice pools too! Now the only things negative I would have to add, the ceiling fan in the bedroom is loud, it needs to be replaced. The mattress on the top bunk is AWFUL. You can feel every single spring throughout the whole thing, we had to layer it with extra blankets so my 8 year old could be at least a little comfortable sleeping. But it’s only the top bunk, the bottom bunk was super comfy! And lastly, the kitchen sink/garbage disposal has a terrible smell, it smells of rotting food and is just very unpleasant. We did not use the garbage disposal, but just having the water running brings the smell out and easily fills the entire kitchen. We had to hold our breath sometimes while washing dishes, it definitely needs to be cleaned from the inside, this did cause a lot of gnats to be in the unit, mainly the kitchen area. But all in all I would definitely stay here again! We all had a blast!
