Gulfgate

We always stay at the Destin Gulfgate. It is always clean & such a nice place to stay. We can walk to the back porch restaurant and it’s conveniently located to everything. The beach is private and we always get front row beach chairs. It’s a great place to stay.

Place was just like it looked online. It’s better in person. Had a mild issue when checking in but the manager fixed it right away. We will be staying here again.

The location was central to everywhere we wanted to go and I loved that it was gated and secure. Our condo was clean, well-stocked with basic kitchen essentials and enough towels and supplies for our 4 nights stay. The views of the water and white sand beach were breathtaking. We would definitely recommend to friends and stay here again.

Destin Gulfgate Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. No problems or issues with our unit. Very well maintained property with friendly on-site maintenance employees. Our unit was well stocked with all the kitchen amenities we needed to cook and eat in our room. You do need to bring extra paper goods like toilet paper & paper towels as well as your own laundry detergent and washing detergent. Beach access was perfect and we enjoyed a wonderful view from out unit. The pool and exercise building and restrooms were well maintained and easily accessible. We enjoyed walking to The Back Porch restaurant and coffee/ice cream place. Parking was fine, but might be difficult in summer months. Driving distance to restaurants, shopping outlets, and souvenir shops, and recreation areas was short. Very lovely and convenient property that we have stayed in multiple times because it is only 10 stories so you do not have the issues associated with high rise condos like overcrowded elevators and beach front. 10/10.

It was our first time staying at Gulfgate, and the property, staff, and the amenities were the best. I felt safe, it was clean, we had a minor problem with a fan and the staff came immediately to resolve it. I also loved that an umbrella and two chairs came with the unit, and we had our on covered parking! We will most definitely stay at Destin Gulfgate from here on out, and hopefully in unit 205!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great and we have stayed at this location three times and the first 2 times it was VERY clean and well taken care of. This was the second time in this particular unit. I was a bit dissapointed in the cleanliness as we noticed alot of little things like the windows were not clean and had hand prints, some dust bunnies and dirt spots on the furniture. In the past the smell of clean hit you when you walked in, we did not have that this year. for the cost I expect much better. Did not get to use the parking garage as they were updating things, should have been told prior.

The property is well maintained.The pictures of the condos are accurate. It is a very safe place to stay & close to very good restaurants. The beach is beautiful, & the gym is very clean. I do not know anyone who does not love staying there.The only complaint I have is that a few people smoke on the balconies which means I have to go inside until the smoke clears. Fortunately, most people do not smoke & are considerate of others.
