There are a lot of bars and restaurants available to reach by foot (for example the Guenther house with amazing breakfast just a 5 min walk away). "Wir sind total begeistert vom Menger Hotel. Wir hätten den halben Tag allein damit verbringen können, das Haus zu besichtigen. Man wohnt quasi in einem Museum! Trotzdem ist alles auf dem neuesten Stand, unglaublich gut gepflegt. Wunderschön der Garten in der Mitte und auch der Pool lädt zum Erfrischen ein. Die Umgebung ist toll, näher am Alamo kann man nicht sein. Der Riverwalk ist auch gleich nebenan. "
