« Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Nous avons testé le spa de l'hôtel les prix sont élevés par rapport aux salon de massage en dehors de l'hôtel mais le massage que nous avons choisi était de qualité. « Honestly a very disappointing hotel. Online it looks lovely but the reality of metal construction without insulation means a boiling hot room that the AC can’t counteract and from others walking. The restaurant was comparable to Faulty Towers! We ordered a bottle of wine and after waiting for 15mins we’re told they didn’t have it, other drinks on the menu weren’t available, food was actually lovely but arrived at random times and the staff looked perplexed when asked anything. « Une situation géographique exceptionnelle au calme dans la nature luxuriante. L’appartement de luxe est grand, très propre et dispose d’une superbe vue. Le complexe dispose d’une piscine, ce qui est très appréciable après un safari dans le parc national. Petit déjeuner et dîner succulents. La personne qui nous a accueillis était vraiment très aimable, souriante, accueillante. Nous recommandons vivement le Jungle Paradise. »

« Arriving at the entrance was really impressive. We were greeted with a cool drink and big umbrellas as the rain thundered down! The rain meant we couldn't use the pool, which looked lovely, and our original room had leaks, so we were taken to different rooms, which were much better. The rooms were clean. We were a short drive to the safari. All in all, great value for money and a very nice team working there - they just need to finish some of the maintenance work (to stop things like leaks!). »
