„The house at first seemed too far out of the way for me, but once we got there we loved the location by the river and with a dock to fish and swim from. We loved that. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfasts. It became a great base to visit Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham; along with visiting family in the area. “

We love the feeling of total removal from normal life; never having to see/speak to other people and just being completely alone. The boat dock is 2 levels, the upper lever which is perfect for taking in the evening with a glass of wine. The homeowners were extremely easy to deal with and very helpful with any questions we had. Amy even suggested a restaurant (Our Place) which was a great environment and delicious food. Check in and check out of the house was very easy. ...

„Beautiful house with a great view“

„We stayed here for our daughter's wedding weekend. The house wonderful, and right on the water. The house is split into top and bottom, but this worked wonderful for us. Those who wanted to enjoy the games and pool table could stay up late! The downstairs is beautifully updated and the master is so spacious and nice! “

„My family enjoyed our stay on Lake Jordan at this beautiful home. We would love to come back to this place. The purposefully rustic design helped us feel relaxed and close to nature. The high wood-plank ceilings welcomed my tall husband. My 3-year-old kept saying, "the floor is on the ceiling!" It was a hot week in July, and the air conditioners kept up perfectly. „The owner have thought of all details when putting this place together. There's welcoming and peaceful feeling as soon as you enter the door. They thought of everything that you may need. This home that's been shared with it's guest to feel at home away from home. This is a hidden gem. If it's available upon my next visit to Alabama i will definitely rent again. “

„We had a group of 15 celebrating our friend’s 60th birthday. Our group travels together at least twice a year and the Perch has been the BEST place we have ever stayed!!! It’s not only beautiful but clean and very well stocked. We will definitely stay here again. “
