« We showed up and it was super cute, really easy to get into the property. Absolutely beautiful location. House was clean, inviting and looked so pretty. The layout of the house was perfect for the dogs crates since we took both out dogs. Everyone in my family was having such a a stressful end of year 2025 that this vacation and home made everyone so calm and we had an amazing 3 day vacation and great start to the new year!! We will definitely look into this property again over the summer and...

« Stay was great as always. Nice and relaxing. I took one star off cleanliness because the sun room had a strong cigarette smell. Other than that everything was good. »

« I was in Houghton Lake for a golf tournament. Stayed at the property for 3 days. Perfect for me and would be good for a small family also. Very good communication from owners with all the information. »

« We needed a stop over point on our way to Northern Michigan from Grand Rapids and chose Houghton Lake as the location. We were fortunate enough to find this little gem right off the water! Very clean and comfortable as advertised! Would do it again! »

« This was a great little location and perfect for our few days in town while visiting family. »

« Cottage was super cozy. Very accommodating. The neighbors were extremely friendly. Even though we ended up with a pretty chilly memorial weekend, it was super nice with bonfire and warm cottage. Ample parking and roads straight to trails and clear lake party store/bar/gas station to just jump in machine and take a quick ride to get last minute essentials. Will definitely love to book again!! And bonus had a land line that was helpful if we lost reception. »

« We enjoyed our stay immensely! The beautiful views including sunrise are priceless. We loved that we could fish just steps from the door. The house was very clean, bright and nicely decorated and comfortable beds. The surrounding neighbors were all very friendly. We would definitely stay here again! »

« Preplanned trip before snow prediction. 2 couples have cottages in neighborhood but both were winterized so we decided to rent a house nearby. Rough travel going up but house was delightful. Clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was good. Easy entry. Would recommend. Plan on renting again. »

« The location in a rural setting on the lake was a perfect getaway! You can tell love is being put into making this a comfortable and modernized getaway. We appreciated that it was stocked better than any hotel but it was warm and cozy and comfortable. It was a wonderful spot to be able to drive to lots of beautiful Michigan gems too. »
