« It is obvious the innkeeper makes every effort to make the inn a comfortable and as welcoming as possible. The Buffalo Tavern made me feel great about choosing the small inn over an institutional generic national hotel chain. »

« As always, the staff were personable and friendly, went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed, the rooms were clean and perfect. They brought hot coffee to my door in the morning and even served breakfast to us 30 minutes early to accommodate our schedule »

« Windwalker was a great base for an awesome fishing trip. It was simple but it had everything that we needed to be comfortable when we weren't out in the water. It was very clean and very quiet, and my son and I both really enjoyed the decor. It was practically right next to the areas that we wanted to fish so it was perfect. We even opted to just go back to the cabon during lunch instead of taking lunch with us, since it was so close. I actually can't think of anything that we would have...

« Liked the hot tub ,nice and sturdy but small alittle for 2 tall people,liked the view and set up of place,very comfortable main bed,did not have enough towels for both hot tub and shower 2 towels for shower and wash cloth for 3 days for 2 people and 1 towel for hot tub,no paper towels but i could have gotten owner to bring them just an added inconvenience not to have xtra basic essentials, but it was a nice place just bring your own towels and personal soaps.,personally i would have preferred...

« It was a short stay but would stay longer if the opportunity would arise. The chickens greeted us and they are beautiful. The place was very lovely and clean. Great place to visit. If you are from the city, you would enjoy the country. »

« We absolutely loved our stay. The home was small but had everything we needed. The owners are extremely nice and recommended several places to eat and visit as well as an ironing board as we were going to a wedding. The room was clean and organized with beautiful views. It was a short walk to town to see all the shops. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone going to West Jefferson. »

« The best Boone experience we’ve had yet. Beautiful cabin with so much to do inside and out. The location can’t be beat. We loved our experience and will be back again. Our dog felt right at home and loved jumping into the stream on the property every chance she could get. »
