« The host was very accommodating, fit us in last minute which gave us more time to see the sites. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom was a dream for a rental. Lots of room to spread out. The proximity to the Wine trail was a big plus after hiking all day we could visit close to our stay! »

« Very nice, comfortable home and we enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. We didn't have a chance to try out the hot tub but the back deck area would have been a nice place to hang out if we had stayed there longer. It was a convenient place to stay while checking out Shawnee National Forest and Big City State Park. »

« I had so much fun this week hanging out with all the animals! The bunkie had everything I needed- including a small plug-in electric burner to cook on (i didnt know this beforehand so it’s good to note that you can cook here!) I used most of my time exploring the area and visiting nearby state parks. All around beautiful visit, i will be back!! »

« My sister and I had a great time staying in the cozy cabin. We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch listening to the trees sway and the geese honking. We had our evening cocktails by the fire pit, looking at the stars and listening to the cicada or crickets. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. This place had everything that we needed to use as a base camp as we explored the thrift shops in Carbondale, the antique stores in Carterville, and hiking at Giant City State Park. »
