« Elizabeth thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast goodies including freshly laid eggs were a real treat and we loved sitting in the early morning sun as it streamed through the north facing windows. The property itself is so peaceful and quiet with a beautiful outlook. »

« A warm and cosy room with a big comfortable bed. There is a good continental style breakfast to be found in the kitchenette along with an amazing variety of teas.The sunset can be seen from the front patio and we enjoyed the short walk to the centre of the village.Thank you Sophie for a great stay. »

« We had a three night stay for a family reunion. The house was perfect for four adults..sleeping for more if needing..a minor negative only one toilet however very well equipped adequate with everything. Lots of space lovely warm house..a definite recommendation..we’ll be back for sure. »

« Very nice location and owners are friendly and welcoming. They gave us farm freshly laid eggs and home baked bread we would definitely stay there again »

« Beautiful and very well appointed cottage in rural NSW. The bed was very comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing, quiet stay. The property is also well managed and any possible help is close by. We plan to return to Chandlers Rest hopefully not in the distant future! »

« We had the Polo room, it was very clean and quite charming like stepping back in time. Our hosts were very friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. »

« We had a lovely stay at Orangewood. The house was spacious and comfortable for 12 adults. We stayed in winter and despite the cold temperatures outside, the house was warm and cozy once the portable heaters and fires were on. »

« This property was super cozy. My partner and I booked over the King's birthday weekend, looking for a cozy getaway and this was perfect. The cottage is situated in a Olive tree farm with sheep roaming nearby - they were so cute!! The cottage was warm and heated well, depsite it be -5 degrees and snowing outside! It is a fair way from Orange, about a 25 min drive each way, but the drive is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the trips into Milthorpe which was only a 10 min drive and absolute...

« My friend and I just had an amazing long weekend in this beautiful cottage. Just 5 ish minutes from Millthorpe and close to an array of wineries, it was the perfect location. Super quiet we enjoyed the indoor gas fire as well as the fire pit outside - kept us warm on the chilly 0 degree nights!Well equipped kitchen and modern fit out we loved all the tiny touches. The garden was lovely and plenty of places to sit. Loved watching the stars and seeing the Milky Way as well as watching the sunrise...
