« We had the most wonderful stay with Robin and the crew. We were lucky enough to help her milk one of her goats. The night’s were beautifully cool and beds were comfy. It was so peaceful just the break from busy suburban life we needed. »

« Communication was great. The place was very clean and cozy. We felt like home. They had everything that we would ever think of( coffee and coffee marker, towels, cleaning supplies, shampoo,soap, a list of places u can visit. We had a very relaxing time and would definitely stay there again. »

« Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. « This is what I call getting away. My family had a great week from early morning hot tub soaks to family feuds over playing Uno and Monopoly! We only got one clear night in the star gazing field and the moon was a bit to bright but it was still beautiful. The property is clean and well stocked with just about everything you could need! We will definitely be back! »

« Emporium is an old town so we knew ahead of time the home was going to be older. I think they did a nice job bringing it up to date considering its age. Beds were fairly comfortable. The detergent used for the comforter was a bit strong. Fridge's water/ice machine didn't seem to work but there was fresh water in the fridge for us guests. The barn door for the bathroom was a nice touch. I'd recommend a latch or small hook as it did tend to open. Otherwise, it was clean and we loved that it was...

« My family loves Eagles Nest. No roller coasters, Giant Disney lines, no crowded beaches. Just my husband and I and any other family member that is available. Then it's fishing and inner tubing in the crik, play games around the large table . Every evening we look for elk, and they always show The house is clean, air conditioned, 2 baths and large bedrooms . I hope it is a family tradition that never ends. »

« Rental process was very easy and the property Manager responded to emails quickly to address any issues or concerns. The property was well equipped for a comfortable stay. During our stay, we saw bears, Bull Elk, fox, Skunk, several Deer, an Eagle, numerous other smaller animals, and enjoyed the sea of stars in the night sky. We visited the Austin Dam, an Amish Auction and the Stevenson Dam. Thank again! »

« Barr Top Lodge was the perfect place for our family of 7 to stay. The amenities were exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. The kids sure did enjoy the pool table. I was slightly disappointed with the cleanliness, but i know that can be difficult being in the woods. »

I did not answer the question regarding the property manager as we did not speak or meet with him, nor was there any reason to do so. The conversation with the property owner answered all our questions, and resolved the misunderstanding completely.
