« If you’re looking for a rustic camping experience, and this is your place. Quiet and serene with multiple wildlife meandering through the property, well maintain trails leading to forest and creeks, and a fast sky with plenty of stars. Josh handy is a great host who communicates well and is responsive to the needs of his guests. Altogether lovely I would definitely do it again. »

« We did not spend a large amount of time in the cabin, as we were there for a men's conference at the Ark Encounter. Jonathan, the host was very friendly. The cabin was well kept and clean. I plan to rent the cabin again next year. I do want to confirm that the ceiling in the loft is only about 3 to 3-1/2 ft high. My son and I slept there, and we are both over 6 ft tall. « This place is definitely remote, but in the best way possible. The closest grocery store is about 20 minutes away. The property has neighbors close by, but the surrounding trees provide privacy. The road getting here is narrow with a few sharp curves, so pay attention to the speed limit. The deck that wraps around the house was great for all of us to relax and enjoy the view of the river. « Home was very nice. We had a couple issues with outside cleanliness and dock deck was broken but it was quickly resolved by the management company who sent out 2 crews on a Sunday to pressure wash the outside and fix the dock. They even mowed the grass. Great place to stay. Would stay here again. Highly recommend. It is fairly remote which is nice if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. »
