„Property has lots of character and charm. Staff were helpful and very pleasant. The room was quite large and clean. The bed was comfortable.“

„Sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Sauberkeit schrecklich. Personal sehr freundlich. Kein Frühstück obwohl in der Beschreibung inbegriffen. “

„Zimmer etwas veraltet und bedürfen einer Renovierung. Geruch im Zimmer nicht besonders gut, nach umfangreicher Lüftung aber in Ordnung. Pool nicht sauber, daher auch nicht genutzt. Frühstück in Ordnung, halt amerikanisch.“

„They need to remove all of the trash from the outside. And get the cigarette smell from the rooms“

„Felt at home right away!“

„A reliable option with essential comforts that satisfied our requirements without stressing over little details too much.“

„The charm of this historic cottage cannot be denied, and the commitment to preservation is commendable. Melissa was responsive as a host. „Great place to stay with pets (including horses!). Beer, wine, coffee, snacks, and continental breakfast were a bonus and a big help since restaurants are about 10 miles away. Location was perfect for going to Darling Raceway.“

„The south at it’s very best. Beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. I only wish that we’d had longer to stay. David was very friendly and accommodating. I can’t recommend this beautiful home strongly enough. Stay here……you’ll love it.“

„Quick weekend getaway turned out fine, solid facilities made settling down simple here despite being busy nearby over summer season!“

„Little weekend getaway one hour from home for MX training. Beautiful pond with lots of fish and sassy beavers. Son and husband fished as much as time would allow. Pet-friendly is a plus for us. We plan on returning in the future.“

„Such a beautiful home and perfect for our family of 10 for a weekend visit to Cheraw. We enjoyed reading the stories of the family history of the home and loved cooking breakfast in the well appointed kitchen. The home is more beautiful than the pictures show. Very well furnished and so comfortable to stay. The hospitality and prompt and helpful communication from host John was much appreciated. I hope that we’ll all get a chance to stay here again someday!“
