„Did an upgrade to cowboy retreat and it was well worth it. The cabin was beautiful and roomy and comfortable. S’mores at the fire pit were so good. Ed was a great host. Showed us around and made us feel we never wanted to leave. Could have stayed there forever“

„We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race. “

„My wife and I had a great time over this past weekend. The cabin was very clean, well put together, secluded and relaxing. Only thing I didn’t realize was it didn’t have a shower, but wasn’t so bad because there was a hot tub. We both really enjoyed our time there and feel completely recharged. „This home was as described, spacious, beautiful, great yard and views!!! Plenty of towels, even for hot tub time. Emma was communicative and very helpful. The home had everything we needed. Be aware, however, the opening to the stairs is wide, glad we brought 2 baby gates to tie together to keep our toddlers safe. The train noise didn’t bother any of us, not even the toddlers at nap time. Great place to stay!!“
