« What a treat it was to stay in this fun apartment! The prison decor was very cute, it stayed right in theme. The space was great, the bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, the kitchen had everything you needed. And Rebecca was a great host and communicate communicated quickly. We would certainly stay again! »

« This was a 150+ year old pioneer home, with period-appropriate furnishings. The kitchen has been updated to modern appliances. The bathrooms are also updated. The bedrooms have comfortable beds for getting a good night’s sleep. It is located in a pioneer-era historic area. If you want restaurants nearby, or boutique shopping, forget it. Go with the pioneer atmosphere and experience the location and history. It may give you a whole new outlook about how our ancestors lived. »

« To be very honest the property is not what I expected from the listing. However, after getting settled in and the excellent communication with the host, the 6-week stay was very pleasant. The host was wonderful and checked on us on a regular basis. Host was very quick to fix any issues and was also very quick in all responses. They made us feel welcome. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to someone who is looking for a reasonably priced home to...

« This was the most magical stay we have ever experienced. There wasn’t one detail that didn’t go untouched. Clearly a creative genius designed this. If you want to give your family the ultimate fantasy vacation we highly recommend this place. The hosts responded immediately to any concerns. The only thing missing was a home cooked Hobbit meal »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Cozy House! There was just the two of us so only used the bedroom w/king size bed. SUPER comfortable! This place had everything we needed for our 5 night stay! It was very quiet! Great A/C! Very, very clean! We highly recommend the Cozy House when passing through the Wever, Burlington, Biggsville area. Joe & Kathy »

« What a unique house and has a wonderful view to enjoy!! »

« The place was very clean. Very quiet. Comfortable beds and furniture. Good appliances for kitchen and laundry. Less than 15 to Navoo and restaurants, Dollar General, gas station. I would definitely stay there again. »

« Everything was fabulous it worked out perfect for what we needed »

« Historic Nauvoo. What a neat little town. Everyone was extremely friendly. The property is good value for the money. If you park on the Main Street, it’s easy to find. The alleyway from the front is level concrete and well lit. We parked in back as we were instructed. It was a little confusing at first, until I reread the instructions. The concrete alleyway from the back is uneven and not as well lit. But the town is a safe one, so security is already felt. The stairs to the upper apts...

« Peaceful country setting. Wonderful host. Wonderful stay. »

« Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely historic home. The little ones were sure we were in a castle! Everything was clean. The kitchen was super well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, spices, and all that we needed for big family meals. It was great to have enough room to all be together, yet have places to enjoy some separate games and conversations. We just wished we could stay longer! »
