„Es war alles vorhanden wie beschrieben, allerdings hätte der Aussenbereich gepflegter sein können. Der Grill war verdreckt und somit nicht nutzbar-schade. Auch die Sitzmöglichkeiten im Aussenbereich waren schon seit längerer Zeit nicht in Benutzung und verdreckt.“

„Gemütliches, sauberes kleines Häuschen. Sehr gemütliches Bett und schöne Terrasse. Nahe am Nationalpark und gleich gegenüber ein Restaurant mit leckeren Drinks und auch gutem Essen. Für 2 Personen perfekt. “

„Read the description of the cabin. It accurately describes the cabin. We rented it to mainly visit Sequoia NP. We did cook out one night on the patio. Very pleasant environment. It was easy to find everything one needed. Plenty of towels, sheets, etc. There is a restaurant 5 minutes away that offered food, drink and free pool. For the money spent, we felt it was a good value and would happily stay here again.“

„Die Unterkunft ist trotz Wegbeschreibung sehr schwer zu finden. Die Anmeldung/der Check-In ist nur bis 19 uhr abends möglich... was sich bei manchen Touren nicht vermeiden lässt. Die Kabinen im Dunklen zu finden ist fast unmöglich. Das Restaurant/Grill hat nicht sehr lange offen. Am besten man hat Essen dabei bzw mietet sich eine Hütte mit Küche. Alles sehr einfach am Waldrand gelegen. Irgendwie toll gemacht allerdings in die Jahre gekommen. “

„The cabin was very large for 3 families of 3 with young children and toddler. Lots of rooms for the kids to run around with books and toys for them to play with in the closet. Located about 10 minutes from town, but there is lots of driveway for the kids to use bikes and area around the house is good for the kids to explore. Overall wonderful experience!“

„We had an amazing stay. Had a problem with the heating but the owners came out asap to fix it and get us warmed up. We would stay here again.“

„A fantastic spot to book for a group trip - good for families with kids as well as friends that don't mind getting a little cozy with multiple beds in each room. It's only about a 5 minute drive away from Shaver Lake, and there plenty of amenities (ping pong table, board games, chairs to use for the lake, blankets/towels). Erich is super responsive if anything comes up. I think for the price point, it's very affordable for those looking for a short weekend getaway!“

„Our stay here was extremely convenient for access to both King's Canyon and Sequoia national Parks. It was a relatively well stocked kitchen for what we needed and enough beds for four adults. We brought enough food for our one week stay with us. We would stay here again just for how close it was to both parks.“

„Fantastic stay! The dome was a great way to go glamping while still being in nature. The hot plate and grill were very nice to cook and the shower had really fast hot water!“

„the host was not answering the house was damaged we came 350 miles and nobody opened the doortried to call since the morning the host euent answer so we couldnt take the house and stay there they canceled it and we had to look for another one they knew thtat house was under police investigation but still took money and dirnt tell us about that so we could change the teip“

„Only stayed one night but wish I had longer. I’ve never been as comfortable while hanging from a tree. Plus the dark sky was great for star gazing “

„Great little place that is stocked with essentials, and more. The road up to the place is pretty squiggly, so keep that in mind if you get car sick! I had to be the driver in the area to avoid it. Because of the roads, it took a little longer for us to go to dinner on our first night and to get to the parks, so keep that in mind.We brought a lot of our own breakfast food, but did notice there is some easy food stuff like pancake mix in the cabinets, possibly from past guests, which is nice. „The house was within walking distance to town. I really appreciated all of the toiletries that were available to us, and the extras like laundry detergent etc.“

„Home was clean, set up well with plenty of space and beds.“

"Übler Geruch, Sauberkeit gibt es nicht, ich kann nicht verstehen dass andere Gäste in den Pool gegen, der Whirlpool wird auch Nachts benutzt, lasst einfach die Finger davon und Bucht ein anderes Hotel"

"Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen für einen Besuch im Nationalpark King Canyon oder Sequoia. Das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet auch gute Speisen an. Der Durchgangsverkehr ist lediglich etwas laut und es wäre super, wenn in den Cabins auch ein Kühlschrank vorhanden wäre."

"Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr sauber mit sehr freundlichem Personal; das Frühstück war einfach und gut, allerdings hat sich eine deutsche Reisegruppe üppig Proviant eingepackt, was dazu führte, dass die übrigen Gäste zumindest keine Auswahl an Obst mehr hatten."

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen

"An der Rezeption steht schon ein Schild, dass es kein 5 Sterne Hotel sei (vermutlich, wegen permanenter Beschwerden). In dem Hotel funktioniert wenig, es ist keine Wand oder Boden sauber. Eingeschlagene Fenster, vermüllt, abgerissene Elektrik (habe sogar Beweisfotos gemacht). Ich könnte so weiter aufzählen. Ich gucke bei meiner Buchung nach Bewertungen! Wieso dieses Hotel so gut bewertet wurde, erschließt sich mir nicht! Ich bin nicht pingelig, wir waren 45 Tage in USA unterwegs und unsere Haupthotels waren Kategorie Days Inn. Diese sind dagegen 4 Sterne Hotels."

"Very smooth check-in with an extremely friendly welcome. The breakfast was great, offering a wide variety of options. The bed was comfortable, though the sofa bed wasn’t, but I’ve yet to come across a truly comfortable sofa bed anywhere. The showers were clean, and the energy-saving lights, while efficient, had a slightly harsh cool tone—something you often find in similar motels. The pool is open from 10 AM to 10 PM, which is convenient. Overall, it’s a highly recommended place to stay."
