« Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

« The house was very well stocked with kichen needs and pillows etc. Very clean. the shower tiles could use some bleaching but everything else was pretty spotless. Nice decor all throughout the entire house very thoughful items in kitchen. »

« We had a wonderful stay at the Loose Goose vacation rental in Shaver Lake. The cabin was quiet, clean, and incredibly relaxing—exactly what we were looking for. We especially appreciated the fully stocked complimentary coffee and tea bar, which was a thoughtful touch and made our mornings even better.The location was perfect—just minutes from the downtown area and very close to a great playground, which was a big plus for our family. The cabin was also well-equipped with books, games, and DVDs...

« Ideal location with large back property for children to play. Could easily walk to the lake or store. Great restaurants available close by for pizza and burgers. Tried to message "host" twice-no response. Had to on-line chat with someone who did not have any information for us. »

« This cute cabin was a great little home away from home. Close to the parks and plenty of room. Peggy was a wonderful hostess, very attentive and provided everything we needed to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Rustic comfort at its best. Definitely recommend! »

« Overall a very nice property! A bit hard to get to but a great space secluded in a wooded mountain side location. It has way more space available for the 2 adults in our party and wish we had more time to spend and relax there!! »

« We used this location as home base to visit several national parks as well as Forestiere Underground Gardens and some wineries. The house was very clean. There were enough dishes and silverware to serve all the beds times two. The beds were comfy without being too soft. Freezer kept ice cream and made sufficient ice. »

« We recently stayed 6 nights and 7 days at the Cozy Mountain Home in Shaver and truly didn’t want to leave. This home was absolutely beautiful—spotless, spacious, and full of charm. The stunning mountain views alone are worth the trip!The layout was perfect for our family, with every bedroom having its own private bathroom—a huge plus!
