« Structurally, it was a standard old-style 1960s motel room. It was clean and bright, and it happened to be well-heated ahead of our arrival on a very cold 2 degree night in June, and it was well-sealed, with no draughts. There were electric blankets on both beds in our twin room and spare blankets and pillows in the wardrobe. The beds were good and I slept better there than I had in weeks at home. We'll equipped kitchen, comfy bed, hot shower and secure, attractive and peaceful backyard, with lovely view over neighbouring farm (complete with cows, which fascinated my dogs!).
