1. Ocean Lodge Resort

St. Simons Island

« The property was close to the beach-literally walked out the door & could access the walkway to the beach. The unit was in need of a deep clean & renovation. The sink in one of the master’s had a slow drip, the other toilet flush issues. It is advertised as having a furnished kitchen, but lacking in providing adequate dinnerware & cutlery. The unit had a musty smell possibly from the AC…, »

« This vacation house is very much false advertisement, when we pulled up. The grass was uncut pretty much as high as my knees. There was a dog kennel on the side of the house in 100° weather, which is absolutely horrible. The backyard had bushes growing up the house covering the back door and the walkway, it says in the description that you get the whole entire house with your party, but that’s not true. You share the house with 2 to 3 other people that are renting the house or actually living...

« The facilities and amenities are excellent. The rooms are clean throughout. It is quiet and peaceful, and the air conditioning works superbly. There was a lack of communication and planning from the owner that led to an inconvenience in parking and access with our vehicle for 24 hours.Otherwise, this is conveniently located to local attractions i.e. Downtown Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, etc.We will recommend this property to others. Thank you! »

« This was the worst stay i've ever had. We get there at 4pm (check in time) and the beds werent made, there were towels in the rooms and all over the bathroom. It obviously wasnt cleaned yet, so we left to go eat and at 4:50 the property manager calls and says the cleaning crew was running behind. Parking is very hard to come by after 4, so we get back at 5 and its pouring down rain and we try to get in and the cleaning crew is inside so we had to wait out in the rain with all of our stuff until...
