„This is a very nice place with easy access to Big St Germain Lake. Fishing, boating, pet friendly, proximity to supper clubs…this place has it all. Highly recommended!“

„Bear Cottage is our Happy Place. From the rustic cottage, to the beautiful lake, the animals, fowl, reptiles to the everything nature it is perfect on all levels. A it if futhings to do in the area including hiking, swimming at other lakes ( we do lake chasing), waterfall casing ( so any to see), horseback riding at theGrassyCreek ranch, farmers markets, flea markets……. Hosts are amazing!“

„Mick, the host, was asking if there was anything he could get us to make our stay better. But there’s already boats and hammocks and campfires and a beautiful lake and a nice house with everything you need in a kitchen. I couldn’t find think of anything to ask for. It’s wonderful. “

„Overall impressions in these categories: House: Beautiful. Big enough for our group of 13, kids and adults. Kitchen is more than great. Screened porch is better than good. Dining area large enough we could all eat in the same area. Rec room including table tennis was used a lot.Water: Fishing was slow but that's no one's fault. Kayaks were used a lot everyday. The shallow sandy bottom was amazing for our kids to play and swim in. The dock held our two boats easily. Stairs to water are not ...

„We had a great week at the cabin. Stayed with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, our two young granddaughters, and our dog. The cabin was great and had a perfect feeling of a traditional cabin with all the modern amenities . Property was nicely secluded and the lake was quiet most of the time. We enjoyed the SUP’s they had there as well as the kayaks and canoe. Fishing off the pier was great and we (our grand daughters) caught tons of pan fish. “

„Just what you would expect in a North woods cabin. Knotty pine on the walls and a beautiful view of the woods. Check in was easy and communication was great. Kitchen had all the gadgets we needed to make meals.“

There was plenty of space to spread out, the beds, bathrooms and kitchen areas were all very clean and appreciated. The location was perfect for us as it was close to all the activities we needed to attend. Thank you again for the opportunity to stay here and I look forward to see you next time. „This property was absolutely perfect. With 2 small children the sandy beach and play-set was a huge benefit. Property was only about 10 minutes from town so it was super convenient. We did a lot of swimming and fishing and caught a lot even from the docks on the property. Janette was wonderful and showed us what we needed and was available if we had any questions. We had a wonderful week!“
