« My parents, my husband, son and I stayed at this farmhouse for two nights while we explored the area around Kensington where my parents grew up in the 1930's. The location is super beautiful and peaceful. We loved watching the birds feed, the deer, and all of the flowers and trees. The quiet was spectacular. We also saw sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans and other wildlife. The house was so clean and had everything we could want. The kitchen was so well stocked with dishes and other amenities....

« This was exactly what we needed to decompress from a difficult year. Peace and quiet, solitude, beautiful views, and comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck with my coffee to watch the swans, ducks, and pelicans on the water. Would definitely stay again. »

« We choice this house the privacy and the location.Check-in was easy, and we had awesome communication with our host Patrick. This house is amazing. It is bigger than it looks. It was very clean, kitchen was stock with cookware, and utensils. Love the coffee bar area, it was utilized every day. The views on the property amazing. Definitely will plan another trip and stay there again. »

« This was our third time staying at the Buttercup Hideaway. We have always come in the fall to enjoy the cool weather, fall colors and quiet. The host has always been quick to communicate. The fireplace is nice for the cooler evenings. We brought books, DVDs and puzzles to help us decompress from work. It's especially nice to wake up to a beautiful lake view. »
