« Quiet cottage in the woods, solar powered with a generator. Very peaceful and relaxing. Walk to the dock is fairly short. We brought a collapsible wagon, to tote chairs, cooler, and fishing rods , had no issues with the wagon on the trail. Highly recommend! If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place, this is your place! We will be back »

« Super clean place, quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. The access to the covered dock was great for our boat. The landscaping on the property is beautiful, the water fountain feature in front of the cabin is a nice place to sit and relax once the sun goes down. Will definitely be back in the future! »

« The house decor is an eclectic mix of vintage meets modern and rustic. Great spacious living room/kitchen open floorplan with a separate dining room which worked great for our group of 10! The kitchen had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable with 4 on the main floor and the 5th downstairs. Note - There is no bathroom downstairs! « This gem of a cabin is tucked away from the main road and if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life then definitely give this a try. The place was clean and everything you need is available. Bryan, the host provided excellent instructions on checking in and checking out. Also, the place is 30 minutes from Longwood University so if you decide you want to explore Farmville, VA then rent this cabin. »

« Enjoyed our trip to Kerr lake very much. Great location on the waterfront and beautiful area, plus quietness all around. Great host »

« The house was amazing! We loved being able to go down to a boat ramp 8 minutes away and bring our boat back to the dock of the house. I cannot brag on this stay enough. The only thing we would ever suggest adding is tie-ons for boats at the dock. We tied off to the surrounding trees. »

« We had a wonderful stay, as the listing said, nice gentle slope/ easy walk down to the dock. House was very clean and very well equipped, and the hosts were very responsive and nice. »

« We had a great stay. We had my 84 year old father and mother and three adult children and spouses and 2 adult grandkids with their spouses. The house was plenty big enough and the walk to the dock was nice and flat. We stayed in June during a massive heatwave in the upper 90s each day. We would like to come back in the fall. The kitchen was stocked with everthing imaginable and loads of china. My mother was so excited. We ate on different china for each meal. »

« This house is very cute decorated and provided nice extras. We had plenty of towels and sheets as well as little snacks and coffee pods games etc. The beds are comfy and it’s very close to casino however We definitely did not feel comfortable walking there especially at night o we the train tracks. Uber was only 8 so no problem We had a great stay »

« Our family had a great time at Anglers Den! The space was laid out very nicely, kitchen had everything we needed and great proximity to the water!Scott was so thoughtful as well. She bought our dog a little squeaky toy and had a dog cover for him! Highly recommended! »

« We loved the house and being able to dock our boat all week was great. Public boat ramp right across the cove so it was only a couple mins by boat to house. Very quiet neighborhood and all the people in the area were friendly and welcoming. We did not realize that the garage was not accessible and that made unpacking the truck with a weeks work of cloths and food a little more difficult. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cottage while in Lynchburg moving our daughter to college. The cottage was spotless, kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds, and communication top-notch. Couldn't ask for more and we'll definitely stay again. »

« Myself and two other friends had a wonderful stay here. The house is in perfect condition, everything worked and it’s very clean. It had everything we needed. The host was very responsive to my questions. Roxboro has an older, quaint downtown and the surrounding areas have the typical retail stores if you needed something. »
