„Easy access to the home and within walking distance to the quaint town of La Grange. Enjoyed the baked bread that was a pleasant surprise. Property owner was prompt in mailing back to me a bag I had left on the property. Suggestion would be to remove the area rugs in the living area if there will be a guest staying using a wheelchair for mobility. Overall, wish more homes were wheelchair accessible as our experience with the Sweet Retreat. “

„Great view of downtown and yes there are lots of trains!Lots of steep steps to the loft, but doable. Host gave us permission to store our bikes securely in the downstairs rear hallway. Parking on the street was a challenge. During the day and all weekend the street parking was always full. Plus the diagonal side was compact cars only. We had a full size pickup. We had to be creative on parking on the parallel side so as to not take up 2 spaces. And on our last day, a woman pulled out in front ...

„Wow! The farmhouse was beautiful, scenery stunning, amenities great. Immaculate inside and out. Made our first trip to Kentucky a location we want to come back to! Beds were extremely comfortable, porches a pleasure to spend time on, layout of home excellent, and kitchen a thrill to cook in…not to mention the eggs and filet mignon from the farm! Thanks for sharing your beautiful spot!“

„This was the cutest house with such great style & decor. We loved the coffee bar and hot tub. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pacman video game. The welcome book had great suggestions for local joints to check out. The hosts was so kind and responsive to ALL our needs. Such a beautiful little town. “

„This house is great…comfy beds, tons of towels, and lots of peace! The property is definitely off the beaten path, but once you get there it’s AMAZING!!! Plenty of room inside and out for our party of 8.The host is super responsive and helpful.(Be sure to bring basic essentials…shampoo/body wash/salt/pepper/etc…a store is not close by)“
