„We loved our stay in the cottage. My wife now wants me to build one just like it somewhere. Big enough to not feel cramped, but not too big to where it becomes expensive. The screened patio was enjoyable, we ate dinner and breakfast there. The AC worked great and was very comfortable inside!“

„Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon!“

„Beautiful big house. Enough room for all the kids and a nice little back yard for our puppy. Plenty of kitchen items and essentials like coffee and filters! Dishwasher and washing machine easy to navigate. Extra toothbrush was so appreciated as one of my kids left their entire bag at home. Nice to have stores so close too since we had to run to get her new outfits for the weekend!“

„The house was a perfect size for the two of us. We loved the private location in the woods but not far from the hikes we took every day. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a 5 day stay.“

„We chose the boathouse to have our small dog with us. But it was a bonus for us too. It is darling decorated in the nautical theme. Our host thought of so many things to make it homey. I wasn’t sure what to expect, like napkins, paper towels and tissues, so didn’t have to go to the market right away. We would rebook if we are going to the north coast. Sorry didn’t take pictures!“

„This was our second stay at the Boathouse and we were not disappointed. The setting is outstanding with 180 degree unobstructed views of the harbor including great sunsets over the ocean. The house is very comfortable with excellent attention to detail. We had a great time kayaking, hiking, reading, jig saw puzzling, and just enjoying the view. My only suggestion is the kitchen could use more forks and an orange juicer. We are planning our return.“

„The view! This house is all about the view, overlooking the ocean, listening to the sounds and enjoying being outside. The house was perfect for 2, great shower, bed was comfortable. Location was great to explore the south end of Redwoods NP.“

„This is the perfect location to explore, everything was within an hour for our adventures with kids. Beaches are super close and it’s super peaceful.“

„Fantastic spot to hang with family and friends. The hosts had everything we could need. Super cute decor, the beds were comfy and cozy, and the shower and bathroom were great. Absolutely amazing view of the night sky. Totally recommend and can’t wait to come back! “

"Wir waren hier für 4 Nächte, um Eureka und Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist Teil der Casino Anlage und liegt auf einem Hügel mit schöner Aussicht über das Tal. Unser Zimmer hatte diese Aussicht leider nicht, es lag zum Innenhof. Es war aber geräumig und relativ modern eingerichtet. Frühstück ist nicht inclusive, kann aber im Casino Restaurant (gegen Bezahlung) eingenommen werden. Unser Preis war mit $185 pro Nacht noch OK."
