« The cottage was really cute and clean. Plenty of towels. My daughter kept in touch with the staff for me. It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend! »

« Stopped in for a quick overnight stay while picking up our youngest at Prude Ranch summer camp. The little house was super clean, very comfortable and well appointed. Comfortable bed and linens, great tv, kitchenette and bathroom. Quiet, simple luxury in lovely Fort Davis, and very affordable in comparison to hotel rooms in the area. Checking and checkout were a breeze, and we felt right at home ! Did not have a chance to enjoy the rooftop deck, but it looked lovely. Would definitely...

« The house is so comfortable. An abundance of nice towels in both bathrooms. So important to me. The Greek soaking tub was a hit with the grandchildren. Me, too! Such gorgeous views. So peaceful. We saw deer, quail (a pair) and a coyote walking through the tall grass. So convenient to the McDonald Observatory and Mt Davis State Park for hiking and lunch at the Black Bear at the Indian Lodge. We had a wonderful time. »

« Can’t say enough good things about Terry’s home. It was absolutely perfect for our trip to Marfa. Such a unique property in a perfect location and absolutely perfect for our group of four. The beds were so comfortable and the space was more than adequate. « We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water.There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water...
