« What a pleasant surprise. The place is wonderful. We had a full floor and a huge balcony overlooking the local volcanic mountains. We immensely enjoyed staying there. Unfortunately it was only for one night. We will correct this the next time. The swimming pool is remote though, you have to take the car and beware that they have no place where to change. They told you to go to the public restrooms which are disgusting. So change at the hotel. The pool is managed by another facility, not Crooked...

« The property is in a particularly pretty area of Madras, Oregon and I will consider staying here again. The only downside was just how loud and intrusive the housekeeping staff were during the morning hours. That was a bit obnoxious. I will ask for a quieter spot during my next stay. »

« The room is an old room but clean and we needed a room with 3 queen beds and the price was very reasonable. We had plenty of nice hot water and the heater in the room worked so we were comfortable. The person in the office is very friendly and helpful. »

« Beautiful, quiet location with walking and hiking nearby. We didn't realize how remote this sight was so were unprepared for having no services available after our evening arrival. The office closed soon after arriving, so no access to ice, as did the resort services and store, so no food or drink. Guests should be warned to come prepared. »
