„The check-in was very simple using a private code. The kitchen was well equipped although it did take some looking around to find some items as there are many cabinets and drawers. Some of us especially liked the free Keurig coffee makers and K-cups. There was adequate seating for everyone to eat, the dining room, high-top table in the kitchen and stools at the kitchen counter. „This place is extremely impressive and was clearly made for parties. We stayed 4 nights for a 50th birthday with a mix of 12-14 friends, relatives and kids. The main house is very nice, clean, and air conditioned, and was perfect to allow kids and people wanting to go to bed earlier to get a great nights sleep and be happy. Meanwhile, the people who wanted to party all night could be in the party house having a great old time and not disturb those other folks at all. The party house is ...

„Clean, fully equipped with sporting/recreational stuff, loads of bedrooms and bathrooms. The only real negative is that almost all the bathrooms are attached to bedrooms. Pickle ball, basketball, cornhole, volleyball, pool table, kayaks, all great. Perfect for a large group.“

„The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River.“

„Staying in the Round Lake Beach area to visiting family. Room is great and clean. Pretty view of Fox Lake. Only draw back is it is over a bar. Karaoke comes right up through the floor. Not to much of a problem as the bar closes at 11:00. So just have to suffer through the drunken super star want a be singers. It is good for some laughs. Over all I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. “

„Mike arrived immediately for check-in. He was a fantastic host, very informative about what to do and where to go and places to eat. When 2 of our group became ill, he kindly left us energy drinks. Facilities at the house were excellent, property was spacious as per photos and very clean. We would highly recommend this property and this host to anyone planning to visit the Chicago area.“

"Das Hotel hat auf den ersten Blick einen guten Eindruck gemacht; tolles äußeres Erscheinungsbild, gute Umgebung und prunkvoller Eingang. Das Zimmer war allerdings ziemlich abgewohnt, das Bett quietschte die ganze Nacht und war durchgelegen. Die Tür zum Flur war sehr dünn und hellhörig, die Tür zum Badezimmer war stark beschädigt und das Highlight war das vollkommen blinde Fenster. Die Preise für das Essen im Hotel waren selbst für amerikanische Verhältnisse überzogen und die Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer wird für 5$ verkauft. Insgesamt würden wir dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, da es dem Mindeststandard für eine erholsame Nacht nicht bietet. Da können weitaus günstigere Motels einiges mehr als dieses vollwertige Hotel."
