« Lovely rental, gracious host, TONS of space, cozy, everything is within 15 minutes. The only things I would say to the contrary is... there's a window in the kitchen I wish had a blind or a curtain (for privacy), and the water take a while to get warm. If I am ever to go back to Roanoke Rapids (or surrounding areas) if available I would DEFINITELY stay here again. »

« Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. It was also awesome to have a table out there to eat and have space for activities. I also was able to see a blue heron catch a fish while sitting on the porch. The inside dining room...

« What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place! »
