„Perfect spot for a weekend stay in Martinsville. Our black tie event was at the National Museum of History so this location was exactly what I needed. The salon for my hair and nails was in the same building. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare my vegan dishes. I hope it’s available every time I visit home. “

„Plenty of room for our family group in town for a reunion, plus room for visitors one afternoon. House could use a little TLC in a few spots (loose shower faucet, peeling paint) but it was clean and well furnished. Some sort of window coverings in the master bath would be nice so you're not on display in the evening (no one looking right in, but you can see lights through the trees, at least when there are no leaves on them)“

„We enjoyed our stay in the cabin! The cabin was well equipped with all necessities. It was nice sitting in the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch and looking out into the woods from the back. Only problem was the mosquitos but there was a can of OFF under the bathroom sink! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and calm vacation that is in close proximity to state park with hiking trails. 20 minute drive to Walmart but it seemed faster.“

„Overall the stay was pretty good. We were visiting the area for a family reunion, and my family is huge and loud, so it was really nice to have a quiet spot to come home to. I loved the quiet, the house was very quaint and cute, nearest neighbors were close enough to see but too far to hear. Plenty of space for us to stretch out. Hubby loved sitting on the patio watching the wildlife and fireflies, me not so much, lol. That was the only negative for me; the bugs...it was manageable, but if youre ...

„Great place to stay. Close to everything we wanted to do but worth the drive to enjoy not being in the city or a hotel. My 2 children loved the games, toys, and bunk beds. Master bedroom very comfortable and we didn’t know we were such fans of Jetbed. Lots of entertainment inside and outside the home. Just sitting on the front porch away from it all was the best part. Surprisingly enough Walmart delivered as well as DoorDash, so not as rural as you’d think. Great stay. “

„This property is so peaceful and so many horses!! A perfect horse lovers dream! Julie is a wonderful host and everything about the studio was perfect. There were more amenities than I expected. I was visiting my best friend and if I need a place to stay next time I am in town I absolutely will stay again if Julie will have us! “
