„Captain Ron met us to check in. Very nice and helpful. The boat is docked in a private, peaceful area. You can hear some distant traffic noise and occasional faint train, but otherwise very quiet. The boat is older, with ongoing repairs and painting, but was clean and cozy. Has a large, full shower with hot water and a toilet that is similar to RV toilets. „My wife and I came to visit for her birthday. We had a great time and the house was great for this purpose. Everything was clean and the location was great for venturing to different parts of town easily and quickly.A heads up to visitors (and nothing the host can fix), locals speed down the street in front of the house. Be advised if you come with kids, and keep pets on a short leash. “

„This was truly an amazing experience. We absolutely loved the secluded property and the peaceful environment. The water was perfect for kayaking and fishing, and our dogs loved to swim although it was a bit cold for us other than the hot tub! I wish we could have stayed longer and we would love to come back anytime it is available. “

The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals.“

It was very cozy and felt like our home away from home!!! We definitely recommend this property and will definitely stay again when we come back to VA!!!“

"Wir hatten ein großzügiges Apartment mit Küchenzeile und einem Schlafzimmer. Ein Bettsofa ließ sich leicht auseinander klappen und die Matratze war gut. Der Kühlschrank hatte sogar ein großes Gefrierfach. Die Lage war ruhig. Das Frühstück war zufriedenstellend bis gut mit einer relativ guten Auswahl."
